Customer Reviews

Perfect replacement for a BCC2 board for Lennox furnace! Our BCC2 in our 25 year old Lennox furnace was acting up. Furnace wasn't kicking on without us tapping the connectors. I did some research and found this part replaced the old BCC2 board in our furnace. I'm not a repair guy but decided to try to swap the boards. This part was half the price of a local dealer. It arrived 2 days early.Swapping the boards was a simple wire for wire swap. We followed the old board and easily unhooked wires from one to the other. It took about half an hour to swap. When we powered up the furnace, it's worked perfect! We have full heat again! This was a lifesaver! We saved money, we got the part fast (it's winter in Michigan, we need heat!!), and it works! Easy to install, works great, saved us money!5Works Perfect and easy to install. Save $$$$ on a service call. This is for the Fascoh 48K98 Lennox BCC3 board. I bought this from Amazon in November 2017 and have had it for little over a year. My unit is a 20 year old Lennox G23/C23 furnace/ac. This board replaced the original that got fried and has worked perfect with no issues. It is easy to install. Make sure you shut the power to the unit off and take pictures of the original board's connections. You can save several hundred dollars in a service call.It took a few days for me to figure out it was the board that got fried. My furnace would turn on and after a short time it would shut down. Initially I thought it was the limit control which I replaced but did not solve the problem. Then I noticed the fan was not turning on after the burners which caused the unit to shut down. So what I did was turn the fan on manually a few seconds after the burners. When the fan was running the furnace operated normally till it hit the set temperature. I had checked the board and it looked fine. Somehow the signal was not being sent to the fan to turn on. I then decided to take the board out and look at the back. That is when I saw a black mark behind the spot where the fan wire is inserted. After I swapped the board the system got back to normal. So check the front and back of your board for any unusual signs.5Piece of cake to installTwo winters ago, our fan stopped running, and the faint smell of burning electronics wafted up through our ductwork. Ever since then, if my heat was set to auto, the furnace would kick on, but the fan wouldn't start, so I'd have to manually turn the heat on and off during through the winter, because that's what kind of lazy I am. Eventually, I did some research, and after verifying it wasn't a bad thermostat, I narrowed the problem down to the control board. After some Googling, I came across the DiscountFurnaceFilter listing on Amazon, and they certainly live up to their name - to get this for any lower price, I'd have to buy used. This arrived new in the OEM box, and was a piece of cake to swap out with the old board. There's no soldering, so after taking a picture or three of the existing connections, I used a very professional combination of screwdriver and pliers to get the old connectors off, popped the old board out (and saw the burnt out solder joint) and hooked everything up, and now everything's running better than new. The original board on my system was 1st generation. The replacement was some newer configuration, and while I can't really tell you what the difference is, I have enough electronic gadgets kicking around that I've come to prefer getting the latest revision whenever possible.5No Worries From This Seller...I did not like Amazon's fine print, No returns on electrical items that have been installed.. 2 reviews said their board did not work upon arrival! How can I tell if it is good or bad without installing it? So I called and spoke with Rebecca. I hve recently relocated to this area, and am not licensed here yet, however, I was a Mechanical Contractor in Colorado for 22 years before coming here, so I know what to do. Rebecca understood this and said she will honor a 1 year warranty. That is super cool and I appreciate it very much! It came 1 day early, FedEx dropped the ball and it was on the front porch instead of the side, but I got it ok and everything went real smooth. It was installed on (today) because yesterday didn't work for the customer. I told them that their warranty starts today 11/17/19. I appreciate Rebecca's professionalism and will gladly use this seller again!5worked perfectly the price was really good and the part worked perfectly. The one I replaced shorted out and the back had black scorch marks on it. this replacement was great and the price was a lot less than anywhere else. 5Worked great for Lennox G20 with BCC2-2 I called the local Lennox dealer to purchase the part locally and support the local businesses even though I knew it would cost more. I'm in the industrial maintenance trade but not an HVAC contactor so they wouldn't even give me price or availability.Oh well, that is another reason online sales are dominating and putting the local businesses under.I installed the part and AC is up and running well. High quality part with thorough instructions. This was to replace a BCC2-2 board in a Lennox G20 548K98 or Replacement for BCC2-1 Blower Control card Factory ReplacementOk here it is ! I ordered this card on 2-12-13 at 8:30p . To My door step on 2-14-13 2:00p . Service/Order Fill time Was the Best I Ever had . Part came in factory carton New as stated . I Installed it in 30 min. including testing unit after placing covers back on furnace . Test run was perfect ,This was My problem , heat cycle was good and worked fine , after burner shut down the preset time to cool the heat chamber was over <90 seconds> ,blower would continue to run sometimes for hours . so tested it down to a stuck relay for voltage to motor . Now no more problem ! I do want to say My part that I needed to keep My Home warm got to Me very fast and in a clean carton . Your Service is Best In Class ! Thank you Score One For ME ! The local HVAC guy is still looking for someone to bend over :-}This is a 23 yr. old Lennox G20 and has served me well .Frank5Full Functionality RestoredI have an older Lenox furnace, a G26 series. When the thermostat was set to heat and the fan was set to auto the furnace would not run for more than 60 seconds. If I set the fan to on we would get heat but the fan ran continuously. After some research it looked like this was a common problem and the resolution was to replace the BCB (blower control board). Amazon had this product at a good price with a lot of reviews saying that shipping was fast. They were right. The part came in the mail very quickly and did resolve my problem. The board was well packed and padded, the instructions were very clear and it even comes with a jumper for older units than mine. This was my first furnace project and it took a little over an hour to complete the swap going very slowly. If I had to do it again, I bet I could do it in half the time. There was no option for me to call a repairman as this is in a remote location that I go to on the weekends but I can imagine that having someone else diagnose and repair this problem would cost several hundreds of dollars. I would absolutely purchase this product again and recommend it to anyone with the same problem.5works just like its saysmy gas furnace would not run--it would shut down during the heat up phase.did some investigating---found out that if the blower is in auto mode and you ask for heat the furnace would go thru its normal heat up mode--but 45 seconds later it would trip and shut everything down---the overheat limit switch would trip the furnace. But if I turn the blower to manual on mode and run the blower and start the heat up mode as normal it would run just fine--but the blower is always running. This at least got me thru until I received the new part.... As you can see from the picture something shorted out the old card for the auto blower relay.Installed new BCC3 blower control card--install was real easy took about 30 min. This was a genuine lennox BCC3 control kit replacement blower card not some generic part. Now everything is running great.5Works great!I bought this knowing that my factory furnace board wasn't working right, but didn't install it until the factory board totally died. Took about 30 minutes to install the new board - simple terminal-for-terminal wire swap. Hardest part for me was getting the wires off the old board - several solder joints on the old board broke because the wires were crimped on so tight! Take a picture of your old board before removing and then just match the wire colors/sizes to the new board. Now I have Blower-Off-Delay back! yay!5OEM Replacement for G20Q3E-75This replacement board solved my issue on my 20+ year old Lennox G20Q3E-75 furnace. My blower would not kick on when on AUTO mode, but worked when set to ON on the thermostat. Installing this board was as easy as it could have been. Some of the pin labels were different than the old board, but the included schematic helped me figure out where to put the wires (where needed). The 24 VDC pin is smaller than the original, but an adapter wire (and wire nut) was also included. Hopefully this info helps someone one day. Try this board before spending $1000 on a new furnace!5Easy DIY For Any Homeowner Had our Lennox guy tell us the part would have cost $350 plus a $150 instillation fee, that is IF he could find the part. This is a very simple DIY job for any homeowner. First, turn off the power from the breaker and insure that you have the thermostat set to off. Second, I highly suggest you take a picture of the original circuit board before you start pulling wires especially the screws with the small wires as those are the wires for your thermostat control. Third, Carefully pull one wire at a time from the old board to the new one. Do not yank on the wire itself, doing so may pull the wire out of the metal connector (Terminal). Pull on the metal connector at the end of the wire to insure you don't damage the wire. If the connector is stuck in the use a pair of needle nose pliers. Depending on your furnace you may need to remove the original circuit board in order to get at the wires. There should be three to four white/semi-clear plastic tabs in the board that you will need to remove as the new circuit board has new clips. You don't need to be gentle here, just yank those out with a pair of needle nose or normal pliers. After you have replaced all the wires to the new board all you need to do is line up the new plastic taps to the holes on the furnace and you're done!Instillation time: 20-30 minTools needs: Screwdriver, needle nose pliersOptional Tools: Camera, regular pliers 5Works fine, easy to installI used this on a G20RQ2/3 Lennox whisper heat unit when my BCC2 LB-65126A caught on fire. This is the first day, but It works flawlessly and exactly the same as the old unit straight out of the box. "Plug and Play." My furnace guy was almost twice the price for a similar part. If you can stand to wait for regular shipping I would recommend getting this 48k98 circuit board. Also, if you know anything about attaching wires to identical terminals, this is very "do it yourself." As long as you can troubleshoot that your problem is with your original blower circuit control board, and turn your breaker off. Item arrived on the first estimated day (Friday when ordered on Monday).Update 01/2012: Still working great after over a year of constant use (heat and AC). I'm very happy with this product. You can't beat the price, and it's not hard to do yourself.5Do NOT pay a repair company to replace this part for you! We were having trouble with our furnace when the thermostat was set to "auto" but no problems when it was set to "fan". We had a repair company come look at the furnace and they indicated that the Blower Control Board needed to be replaced.... and that it would be $827 for them to do it. At the time, I knew zero about my furnace and assumed the service fee was high because it was a technical or difficult repair. But, after my husband and I looked into it, it just didn't seem that difficult. So we ordered the part. It's possible my lovely husband talked some smack, so he took care of the baby while I replaced the Blower Control Board without assistance. This is only of note because if I can manage to switch out this board, the odds are everyone else can, too.It did take me longer than some of the other reviewers; a bit over an hour. I was being extremely careful with labeling and such. But, at the end of the day, it just wasn't that difficult, and it certainly wasn't worth paying over $800 to have someone else do it. 5
