    Ooops! I didn't realize this was battery operated. The last one I had the case finally broke down after 30 years! I put a wind up clock on my wish list. I am sure it works fine. 4YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR This travel clock keeps time, the alarm goes off on time, etc. But it's cheap material, the cover for the battery (AA) does not close easily, and once I opened the clock itself and put in the battery, it wouldn't close completely again. If you don't care about such matters, fine. It keeps time, the alarm works, and it's a good size for travel. 3Travel clock It's cheap should've known deal was too good to be true......it's so loud we found we need to throw it in a drawer with clothes on top of it to sleep at night. Very cheaply made when you put the battery in it pushes the clock mechanism out of the container. Don't waste your money. 1The clock arrived with the minute & second hands not ... The clock arrived with the minute & second hands not working right. It worked sometimes when laying flat, however when standing up, so the face could be seen, they did not work. It did not have the quality I was looking for, I do not think it would hold up to rigorous traveling. I needed something to throw in a backpack for camping off grid. Also, I was looking for a windup clock, not a battery operated one. I must have missed that description when I ordered it, so that was my error. I opted to return it for a refund. 1This is so easy to change the time I tried a different clock and it was extremely hard for me to program it, so bought this. This is so easy to change the time, the alarm, etc. everything, so I've enjoyed using it during time changes or not. 5Good Product Got what I needed. An easy to read travel alarm clock. Only drawback is it's ticking is very loud. I will update more after my 10 week trip I will be taking soon. 5Needs improvement It is a good clock but it has no background light which can be used to see in the dark. The case of the watch has an ordinary look as ordinary polymer has been used in manufacturing it. It has solved my problem of getting up early for morning prayers which I used to miss often as the beep is of good intensity. 3therefore it is really useless for what we wanted it for Sorry, but this clock is "rubbish". Bought it specifically for travelling as it was advertised with luminous hands. You can't see the hands/numbers in the dark, therefore it is really useless for what we wanted it for, it also has quite a loud tick! 1Poorly made and closed casing stops the hands of the clock from moving forward - JUNK Too cheap to send back. Every time I close the lid for traveling the clock stocks. Actually, it doesn't stop but apparently the back of the casing pushes on the little cog with which you can move the hands of the clock and it keeps it from turning. I have to reset the clock every time after putting it in my bag. The ticking is really, really loud and over all the construction is very cheap. 1You know it's there! This little clock is so loud I can hear it ticking from the inside of my suitcase, wrapped in clothing. Way too loud. Sorry. 1
