    Best Drill based mixer for price This mixer is superb quality. I have been using it to mix all types of paints as we are redoing all of our rooms in our 4 bedroom home. Very high quality stainless steel super easy to clean and seems like it will last a lifetime. I also used it to mix some of my liquid fertilizers, herbicides and humic acids and did an awesome job with that as well. Just run it under water quick and its clean, that simple. I would not hesitate to recommend this to even a professional/commercial painter its that good.Thanks for the highest quality tool on Amazon.Regards Chad, NY 5Impressed my dad. Mud mixer worked like a charm. My dad was over at my new house helping me patch some walls and we started mixing the mud by hand and he said "you know, the pros have a special tool for this.."I replied "you mean one of these bad boys?" And I pulled out my brand new mud mixer. My dad smiled and said "hell yeah what that's what we need!"We put that thing in my drill and had that 20 minute joint compound mixed up before it hardened. Job well done. 5Good product, but CAUTION First, it does not come with instructions. Second, there is a protective cap at the end that has a hole in it. That's so you can hang it up. Lots of folks will wonder how you put this in a drill. Just yank off the protective cap and save it for wall mounting after use. Otherwise, it's a sturdy, typical drill powered paint, spackle, grout mixer. It's high quality and easily cleaned with hot water immediately after mixing latex paint, spackle or grout. 5Must Have For Painters! When I ordered this guy, I figured I was taking a bit of a risk in that most paddles that are designed for fivers just displace too much paint to be able to mix a full one-gallon can without getting paint everywhere. Fast-forward to my first opportunity to use this bad boy with a one-gallon, and I was VERY impressed! When the paddle went in and all the way to the bottom of the can, the paint level hardly rose AT ALL. And that was AFTER putting in floetrol!I really can't recommend this paddle enough for anyone looking for a paint mixer. It's well-built, easy to rinse clean, and does a top notch job mixing both single gallons and fivers. If you're on the fence about this product, hop off and just order it with your shiny phone and your Amazon account. You'll be glad you did! 5Perfect mixer for homeowners, DIYers and light commercial. The price is to my liking and is a solid tool. Easy to clean. It's just a little taller than and perfect for mixing anything in a 5 gallon bucket. After washing it and letting it air dry there were no signs of rust. Very happy with purchase and quick shipping 5Durable and well designed paddle mixer I purchased this mixer for a painting project and the unit worked extremely well to mix 5 gallon containers. It may be a bit overkill for gallon containers but is possible. I have not used to mix anything other than paint but based on it's well built construction, I assume it would work great for mixing small batches of concrete based materials such as grout or drywall mud as well. You will not be disappointed. 5I had three new cans of paint that due to ... I had three new cans of paint that due to unforeseen circumstances had sat for an extended period of time before I could get to the painting project. I was mixing the first with a wood stirrer and things were not going well. It took forever and still the paint was not mixed completely. Before I got to the second phase I searched Amazon and found the paint/mud mixer. WOW!!! What an improvement!!!. In minutes I had the second can thoroughly mixed and ready to go. Same results with the last can. The mixer worked perfectly and saved time. 5it was easy to clean up by running it under water and ... I used it to mix a 5 gallon bucket of paint and found it to work very well. After mixing the paint, it was easy to clean up by running it under water and rubbing it a bit with a wet paper towel. Glad I found another review that gave advice on how to remove that black loop on the end of the device that is used to hang it in store displays. Running it for awhile under hot water expanded enough so it was easy to pull off with pliers. 5This is not a mud mixer - cleaning is difficult This would mix paint fine I am sure - and if that's what you're intended use is, buy it. However, it is advertised as a mud mixer as well and I can say after dry-walling my office - it's not. The bottom of this mixer has a ring that goes around which the mixing blades are attached to. that design would be fine, but there is an unreachable space between the ring and the blades that gets clogged with mud. I couldn't clean it with just my sponge as you'd expect to be able to. I had to go out into the shop and get an awl and chip away at the lumps left on the bottom of both sides to avoid getting anything into the mud I was going to be mixing next. 3Best small mixer I have ever used. Well built and very sturdy; should be very durable. I can't say how this is for mixing mud but it mixes paint and herbicides better than good, it is awsome. I baught this hoping that it would mix herbicides in a 25 gallon tank that I use to spray herbicides and I was very pleased with it's performance. I used it attached to a 1/2" battery powered drill and it put the mixture to swirling in nothing flat. I had a gallon of paint that had been in my basement for 4 yr. That the solids and liquid had seperated; I mixed it for a couple minutes and used it for some touchup work. When I went back to it the next day it looked good. 5
