    Great quality but my plumber says it is little hard ... Great quality but my plumber says it is little hard to install but all is great. It looked great under the bathtub. 4Fit like a glove The instructions were great and detailed. All the needed parts were included for a full rough-in. This does require copper soldering, so you'll need to have a little know-how to install it, or have a plumber do it for you. I was replacing the exact same kit that was probably close to 20 years old, because someone cranked down on one of the faucet collars really tight and collapsed it. I didn't want to risk a flood (there wasn't much left holding the hot water cartridge in place) so just replaced the entire thing. My old trim kit, and eventually the new trim kit I bought to give my tub a facelift, fit right on this like a glove. The design of the flex tube was appreciated so I didn't have to use a pipe bender with exact specs, and the copper in this guy was good, clean, material. 5Different installation idea, but a good one I was a bit leary about this, as past roman tub faucets I have installed were one unit, where the valves, handles,a nd spout were integrated. Having installed this system, there is no better way to go. The plus is this is designed to be "sweated in" which means soldered connection. As the tub is typically in an enclosed wall, this eliminates the worries of a hose or fitting leak. The other BIG plus is you have a full half-inch line which can deliver 16 gallons per minute instead of 4 most faucets do. Filling my big tub in a fraction of the previous time is a great feature. 5Disappointed! Cheap plastic parts that don't work, poor installation instructions and weak customer support response. After hours of complicated installation, the faucets does not turn off. There is no leak near the valves and flow of water changes with the faucet movement but it does not turn off completely unless we push and hold the faucet handles down. This was true for both the hot and cold valves. Call to the Delta support line was useless as all they could recommend was changing the spring and washers below the cartridge which was brand new anyways and they will send replacement parts with a 4-7 business day shipping. Worthless when I have a experienced contractor trying to finish up the bathroom. I purchased replacement cartridges, springs and washers from Lowes as a last ditch effort and even replacing them didn't help. So had to pay extra to uninstall the valves and replace it with Moen instead which was more pricier but very easy to install and no such dripping issues. Lost a whole day in installing, troubleshooting and dismantling this valve. Extremely disappointed and will NEVER ever buy a Delta faucet ever again!!! 1Does the Job! This valve is pretty straight forward. It looks a little intimidating if you intend on installing it yourself because the instructions say you will have to solder the joints. With the advent of Push to Connect fittings, the days of soldering are obsolete. You would need 2 - two way connectors and a T - Connector. A quality pipe cutter is something else you most definitely need. Many plumbers have gone to Push to Connect fittings and will only solder if absolutely necessary. You can't go wrong if you DIY this and a local plumber would charge you at least $100 to install this, so save your money and DIY! 5Find another mounting system! Man, would I warn folks off this tub faucet system. One little, tiny set screw is supposed to hold the entire spout in place. But, a light bump and it swivels on the mount. Ridiculous! 1Great faucet! Delta is the best. If the faucet I was replacing had been a Delta, installation would have been a breeze. I wanted to switch to a Delta brand faucet so installation was quite difficult. 5The product itself is great. Installation is very easy with push fittings The product itself is great. Installation is very easy with push fittings. Don't place the handles too close together or the copper will be bent to its limits. The hole diameters need to be slightly larger than anything on the internet recommended. So, verify the sizing before you do something like pour a concrete tub surround (like I did). It would have been much easier to make the holes the right size to begin with instead of increasing the diameters very slowly with a Dremel tool.Other than my novice mistakes, it's a quality product. 5Great quality rough in for the price! Super easy to use rough in with many options for connecting. This is a great price for what it is in my mind. Only issues I have with the rough in are that you need to make your decision on placement and stick with it (the soft corrugated cooper is only meant to bend once). With that being said, if you read the instructions (which are very good!) and plan a little bit, you should be fine. Keep in mind if you have Pex, you will want to get the rough in with pex connectors (this one is for sweating on copper). 5Great upgrade Our existing tub faucet lost pressure and we were advised to use a delta. Package arrived with no issues. All parts and instructions included. I chose to use Sharkbites to do the install and they worked great. The only difficulty I had was bending the tubing to attach to the T. It was difficult to get everything square the first time. Someone with more experience with plumbing may not have the same difficulty. Overall it was worth it to do it myself. Attached trim and the tub is working again. 4
