    Does what it says and directs air conditioned cool air up - helps cool warmer roomsExcellent for directing air conditioning (cold) air up and into the room. The standard deflectors I'm used to route the air along the floor, which is good for wintertime heating (hot air rises), but this does what it says and deflects the cold air up toward the ceiling where you want it (cold air falls). I have several of these in my house to help cool warmer rooms. I swap them out in colder weather with the regular deflectors that direct air on the floor. As other reviewers have noted, it can be a little flimsy, but so far these have held up if they're not constantly readjusted or banged into with a vacuum cleaner. I've tried using on wall vents and they don't stay up. I think they're intended for floor registers only.5Perfect for A/CThese work great for AC in homes with floor vents. Directs air up into the room(s) instead of along the wall or into the curtains. Has made my AC much more efficient. A little pricey but exactly what I was looking for.5Finally found it I've been looking for something like this for a long time. For some reason, the vent in my bedroom is placed near the door and not on the opposite side of the room where I prefer it to be, so unless my door is closed, half of the air coming out of the vent would be directed outside me bedroom. With this air deflector, I can direct the air across the room which helps to circulate the air better. 5Overpriced, but was exactly what I neededI bought this air deflector to put over the register that sits on the floor in front of my sliding glass door. I have curtains on the door, and I'm always kicking them away from the register. This was exactly what I needed to keep the curtains from falling over the register and shooting the air up the curtain vs into the room. I will, however, say that it is overpriced at over $10. But, I wanted this design (instead of the cheap kind that diverts the air across the floor), so I bought it anyway. I'm happy with it.5Unique design to direct the air flow upI was very happy to discover this unique design. One of our vents, in particular, aims side to side and directly at the lower freezer compartment of our refrigerator, which drives me crazy thinking of how we're heating the freezer. Now the air is blocked on the side and goes straight up and into the kitchen. The other vent is now not blowing directly on a leather couch but up and into the room. While the vents have magnets, I put them over our wooden vent covers and it's just fine.5Exactly what I needed!This is exactly what I ve been looking for! The air kept going behind my curtains but all the other redirect options would be for going under my couch. That's not possible since mine is flush to the ground so this was perfect! So happy I found this one because it really made a difference with air flow. The vent it is used for is in front of a window so the air would blow straight up into my curtains. It's absolutely perfect. The air goes right where it's supposed to.It's adjustable so you could make it longer or shorter to fit your vent. I thought the price was reasonable. The deflectors we bought in the past and paid more for weren't half as good as this one.5I needed something that would keep the A/C out of ...I needed something that would keep the A/C out of the curtains when they were closed. This works perfectly and I ended up ordering one for all of our vents under windows. In all of the ones I received, the magnets don't really stay in the slots in the cover and are incredibly weak. They barely stuck to my fridge and wouldn't hold up a single piece of paper. With or without magnets, we have to readjust them back onto the vents after Roomba is done, so it really isn't an issue for us.3Good price/ Must refine I bought this to hold a throw line for tree work.Pros. Cheap and does the job.Cons. The reel was rough when turning. After I removed the flashing from the handle track and put on a little silicone it turns fine.I also had to remove a lot of flashing from the reel inside, sides.The hole for the handle is rough. It took some fiddling and silicone to get it to rotate freely.Bottom line is if you are able and willing to refine this product it will work. At least for small, light cordage.Charles 4
