    Defcon 1 does not workProduct did not work.Motion sensor chirps then resets.The alarm never activated. 1If you can find one the buy itI travel with various suitcases in the back of my SUV and in most instances do not take them up to my hotel rooms. You can wrap these around the case handle or through the zipper pull hole. If you set it properly and someone messes with it an alarm will sound. Very loud. The alarm also has a small flashing light that may deter someone from selecting your vehicle. 5Three StarsLittle bulky but it works. 3Don t buy!!A piece of junk. Don t buy. Parts do not work and the company s number for support is disconnected. 1It is a great way of getting "some" protection at a good price.Won't stop a dedicated thief, but it will stop the average grab-n-run and it certainly will scream to let you know if someone is moving your bag, or your computer. It is a great way of getting "some" protection at a good price. 4Works Great - definitely loud.Works as advertised. Good steel cable long enough to go thru my motorcycle jacket's arm to keep it safe. Note that there is an additional step if you want the motion sensor also turned on. So you can lock stuff with and without motion sensor - but - you can also forget to turn the motion sensor on. 5Exactly what I neededIdentical to the Targas, but much less expensive. After several years, my Targas broke. I contemplated the smaller/newer model with the shorter cable to lighten the load in my briefcase, but the longer cable really came in handy when there wasn't something to hook onto in a meeting room close by. I usually use a table frame to latch onto, and with this cable length, I can do that and not have to pull the computer to the table edge. The flashing red light is a big plus in my opinion because it gives the lock a "leave me alone" look. 5Motion sensor Dead on ArrivalAt least the Wired Alarm works. 3Very useful!I bought this for the second time. Very useful when traveling. 5It is much louder than you might be led to believe! The motion sensing is awesome! Includes laptop lock. Cable over 4 feet long.This thing is awesome! After you lock it, you can press a button to activate the motion alarm. There are 2 sensitivity levels an you select them by how many times you press the button. Every time it senses motion, it beeps. After 4 or 8 seconds of motion (the 2 sensitivity levels), it will make a different tone, and then the alarm starts. The alarm is ear piercingly loud! It claims 110 dB but I also own the alarm in the link below that's rated at 130dB, and this one is much louder.The motion sensor is very sensitive. If you hold it in your hands, it is very difficult to hold it still enough to where it doesn't beep. If you don't want motion to trigger the alarm, just don't press the button after you lock it. It uses a 9V battery, and the battery door is locked when the cable is locked. Mine had an issue where the battery door wouldn't lock, but it was an easy fix using a pair of pliers.The cable is very thin compared to other similar locks with retractable cables. I also bought this lock, and its cable is much thicker, although I'm sure anyone with a pair of wire cutters can cut through either of them. The Buggyguard's cable is 4.5 feet long, and the cable on the Defcon 1 is 1.5 inches longer.One unexpected surprise is the included Kensington slot adapter where you can lock things like laptops and monitors since they all have these slots. It feels a little flimsy though, so treat it as more of a deterrent. You use it by running the cable through the adapter. When the cable is inserted, the slot adapter cannot be removed from the slot.Buggyguard Anti-Theft Retractable Stroller Lock, BlackI plan to use this at the beach. I will lock it to an object or a stake in the sand, so if anyone moves it, it will trigger the motion alarm along with my other alarm.
