    Great inexpensive replacements for old house Perfect fit for old house toilet paper holder. When I purchased my circa 1935 home, the toilet paper rods were missing. After a diligent search to find rods with small pins, I found these on Amazon and they worked great. 5False advertised. I needed an 7 1/2 inch roller to keep from having to drill another hole in my bathroom wall. This ad specifically states will go from 6 1/2 inches to 8 inches. received the roller after three weeks in a pkg that says 6 1/2 inch. it stops at 6 1/2 inchs! Very dissatisfied! 1Perfect! A tiny little toilet paper rod that was so needed! Hard to find in stores, this rod fits perfectly in ceramic-style toilet paper holders that are mounted to the wall. The little notch that sticks out on the ends of this one are smaller than the newer models are. Newer models won't fit in the ceramic holders, but this one does! Thankful this one saved the day! 5Fits the older holder My house was built in 2000, which must be when some things started to be standardized because a lot of my house isn't standard (doorknob catch holes, for example). This holder fit perfectly in the older ceramic toilet paper roll holder. 5false advertising. Advertised as 8 inches. is really 6. I had recently purchased one from another vendor, not knowing there are actually 2 different tip sizes. The good thing about this one, is that it has both tip sizes. . 5It holds ALL the TP!!! Holds the TP like a pro! It even allows the roll to spin both ways, so it doesn't matter if your an over or (weirdo) under person, you'll get your TP to finish your business. Its also super springy so it may go flying across the bathroom if you're not careful...that can make for a bad day. It seems silly to review a cheap plastic toilet paper holder... but when you have an older house with the original ceramic tile TP holders and one breaks... it s a pain trying to find a replacement. None of the locals stores had TP roll holders with the skinny end- they all had the new fat end ones.This little holder has the skinny (and then fat) ends, so it should truly be universal. It fits and works great in my 50 year old ceramic tile TP dispensers. 5Meant to be! What more can I say, it holds and allows TP to dispense ......wouldn't use it for any other reason. Unless I'm really bored and want to launch it into the air while on the throne. 5
