    Inexpensive update. Worked great to replace old, cracked and yellowed outdoor lamp sleeves. Mine were odd 3" size, but these cut down easily with a sharp pair of scissors. Good cleaning of fixture and the lamp looks updated and good as nearly new. 5Good Fit The inside diameter of new sleeves was slightly larger than the outside diameter of exiting, so it was necessary to remove the old. The new were easily cut to 4" with a graphite hacksaw. 4Very Flimsy These are just cheap plastic and very thin. If you want to do something cheaper just buy 3/4 PVC pipe and cut it to the length you like. I had pipe and a PVC cutter. I then used some hammered metal spray paint and they look amazing. It is much cheaper and you get a much better look using PVC pipe and spray paint of your choice. 2Perfect replacement for chandelier candle bulb covers These were a perfect replacement for the candle bulb covers in my hanging chandelier lamp. Mine were burnt on the end near the bulb fixture. I removed them and replaced with these. These slid on nicely without being so close to the hot bulb so I hope they last longer. They were about half an inch too long, so I snipped them with scissors and put the scissor-cut end on the bottom near the bulb to hide any imperfection in my cutting job. Looks fantastic! 5Worked great! Wow! They totally rejuvenated our 33-year-old front porch lights. My wife had done a deep clean of the glass plates in the lights and it exposed the dirty, scorched white sleeves. I looked locally for some sleeves and didn't find any. Just got these from Creative Hobbies today. They dropped right into the fixture perfectly. And not only that, the new LED bulbs also fit inside the sleeves with a snug fit. Perfect! We now have beautiful lights for another 33 years. Well, maybe not that long! 5Right color I needed Exactly right for light fixture that came with yellow candles. These were white and fit perfectly. 5Worked and a very good value I purchased these to replace the pretty but too shiny nickel sleeves that came with a pendant lantern. A few thoughts. These are taller than the sleeves I had. I used a very sharp knife to cut them down and just put the cut side facing downward. It worked just fine. The only caveat is that the part that sticks above the socket allows the light to go through so when the lantern is on that part looks lighter. If you trim yours to the exact height (or it already is the right height) this won't matter for you. I was using a socket extender to raise the bulb which is why it happened to me. Otherwise I didn't find any set that was a better value than this one. Note, the color is a true bright white. If you are looking for something creamy this isn't your set. 5Won't take much abuse. Made of very thin plastic. Two cracked just handing handling them. 3As advertised Arrived quickly and as advertised. I have bought others that were very thin almost see through. These are of good quality and thicknesses. 5Just What I Needed! My old chandelier sleeves were cracking and falling apart. Received these quickly and were just what I needed to finish the look of my chandelier! 5
