    Short life bulbs When I bought my Conair mirror the reviews said the mirror was good but the light bulbs burned out after a couple months and the bulbs were a moneymaker for Conair on these mirrors. I ordered anyway. Four years later I have bought these double pack bulbs four times, now ordering for a fifth. I have another mirror that I've never had to change the bulb and have had it for over ten years. I'm believing the review comments about the bulbs. I will eventually buy a new mirror that has better reviews and doesn't require special order bulbs that burn out so quickly. 1so happy to find! My Conair makeup mirror is almost 10 years odl, and just now needed new bulbs, and I thought for sure I'd never find them. These are the ones, and I couldn't believe the difference in light when I put them in! wonderful, like a new mirror! 5Works like a charm for the CONAIR BE151T Double Sided Lighted Mirror! This bulb is perfect for the CONAIR BE151T Double Sided Lighted Mirror! Conair Oval Shaped Double-Sided Lighted Makeup Mirror, 1x/7x magnification, Polished Chrome Finish I was so annoyed when the original bulb went out, and I went for far too long just using the mirror without any light at all... Then I went on the CONAIR website and found that I could indeed purchase a replacement through Amazon! Much to my relief, I found this bulb, and ordered immediately. The mirror was easy enough to dismantle, and I put in this bulb, and put the mirror back together. BINGO! It works like a charm! Thank you CONAIR, and thank you, Amazon (for making my life easier once again!). 5Don't buy save your money!!!! I've never seen anything like this in my entire life! I paid $9 for this tiny little bulb and it literally EXPLODED 30 seconds after I installed it and turned the mirror on!! The entire thing smells like it's burning! You've got to be kidding me... there's nothing to even send back to get a refund!! I wish I could give this 0 stars, what crap!Going to buy a new mirror...please save your money and don't get yourself agitated like I did!! 1Too expensive to only work 2 months Ordered this bulb on 09/23. Replaced it the weekend I received it. Worked fine for 2 months. Then it began flickering in the mirror and finally stopped working. The original bulb lasted for 3 1/2 years. This bulb is too expensive to only work for 2 months. Will buy cheaper bulbs from another provider and see if they last any longer. 1Off-Gassing? I got these as these were "per the factory." I didn't know there was a different color / second bulb - I had not opened the mirror yet - my Beautiful Wife simply said "the bulbs, after many years, just went out." So, when I found these online, and recommended by Conair, I was excited.They are certainly bright - and my wife got a big smile as the different settings are more impactful than they have been in years.But...If you leave these on too long, you start getting an odd odor. I don't know if it's that colored bulb letting off a gas or melting the coloring? The fact that they are new and strong and the plastic in the mirror is getting hotter than in the past? Regardless, I have asked my wife to use when needed when she is making herself even more beautiful than she already is (almost impossible - but wow!), then, turn off the mirror! 3Acceptable if there are no immediate blow outs This is the second time I have purchased these light bulbs.The first time I purchased these was a little over one year ago so it took that long for a bulb to burn out.This time when I purchased them, I installed both bulbs, put them in the correct sides, plugged my light back in, and the blue bulb blew out as soon as I turned the light on. Thankfully, the blue light bulb that previously was in my lamp still worked but overall I was disappointed as I now have an old light bulb and no replacement. 3Good value for replacement bulbs Replacement bulbs for a vanity mirror. I checked the price locally for these bulbs and they were about as much as the original mirror. It was either buy a new mirror or bite the bullet. Found these on Amazon and the price was in line with what I expected for small light bulbs. The only issue I have is the blue light is of a different color than the original Conair bulb. I'm not sure if my bulb faded over time, the product changed, or the replacement is different. Not a real issue, just odd. Regardless, my vanity mirror is up and running again.Thanks! 4Perfect replacement When my wife originally got her make up mirror years ago, it came which a clear bulb. When I needed a replacement bulbs, I ordered these - clueless as to why there was a blue bulb as well. Curiosity got the better of me and I put the blue bulb in and it looked better. I thought it was me, and showed my wife - she loved it and iss the blue bulb remains. It doesn t give off any sort of hue and my wife thinks it helps applying make up. 5Works great for my Sharper Image double sided light-up mirror! The Conair 20W replacement incandescent bulbs are a GREAT purchase! I have an older four-way lighted mirror (that's double sided) from Sharper Image that I bought years ago, and the bulbs finally burned out. I wasn't sure if it was trash or if I could get bulbs that would work in it again - so I did a bit of research and found this listing. I was a bit nervous because they are labeled for Conair lighted mirrors, but the bulbs looked exactly the same and they were the same size/wattage as the bulbs inside my mirror. I thought I'd take a chance and I'm SO glad I did! They fit perfectly and my makeup mirror works just as great as it did when I first purchased it! The blue bulb goes in the left side and the clear bulb goes in the right - and they both screwed in easily and tightly. They don't overheat, but they do get warm - as most light bulbs do. This was a GREAT purchase and I'll definitely be back to buy more when I need more bulbs, which will be a while because they seem to last FOREVER!! These are definitely recommended and not just for Conair lighted mirrors! Thank you!! 5
