    Five Stars works well for the length. 5Works great AFTER you adjust the length to lower SWR! When I first installed this antenna, the SWR was horrible, so bad that my radio would shut down to protect itself. I looked in the plastic sleeve for instructions but none were to be found... I did find a small allen (hex) wrench in the bottom of the package. I loosed the small screws on the antenna with the wrench and pulled the antenna rod out about a 1/4" and tightened to screws. I re-installed the antenna and WOW... less than 1.5 SWR across both 2M and 440 Mhz bands! Also works well on MURS and GMRS! I installed this on a permanent through hole mount on the top of my Ford Ranger and I liked it so well, I installed one just like it on my F350! The only reason I gave only 4 stars is for the lack of instructions on adjusting the antenna. I almost returned it! I am so glad I figured out how to adjust it. This antenna works great and it doesn't hit the top of my garage door every time I go in or out! 4The antenna works fine on both 2m/70cm bands and I can hit repeaters ... Needed a low height antenna to be able to get the vehicle into the garage. The antenna works fine on both 2m/70cm bands and I can hit repeaters over 40 miles away at 25w on a Kenwood TM-v71a in my mobile. 5Five Stars Good antenna. Reaches all my repeaters. Good quality 5Works like it should. A gift for my husband. He says it's great! 5
