Customer Reviews

This thing is a godsend. Highest Recommendation!!!! I thought I was going to be out $1,000 when my furnace started making loud grinding noises and stopped heating. After researching on the net, I bought this part. It was supposed to arrive in two days; I got it the next morning! Thank you, Amazon for GREAT shipping. The part fit perfectly, no problems at all, in about half an hour, thanks to Scott Warner's great instructions. The noise is gone and the furnace runs like new. With the two day shipping (which turned out to be overnight), it was $54. Way, way better than waiting a week to get a technician who would charge at least $500 and high pressure me into buying a new furnace. 5OEM fitment and install was a breeze Installed into a Coleman DGAH furnace. Product is OEM and the repair was done without any field adjustment to the flue. Will buy again. 5Quality part It's quieter than the original when it was new. Build quality every bit as good. The only complaint is the wire connectors plastic cover wouldn't slip over the Furness connector. Had to slice it to make it fit over. A 4 instead of a 5 star because of this. 4Direct replacement. Installation difficulty: meh..... 3 out of five. it's a bit tricky. Make sure you know what you are doing. Installed quickly for me and has been working flawlessly. Arrived quickly and saved my family from cold nights. 5150 dollar product for 40! Every furnace repair shop said these units were expensive from 139 all the way to 189. And don't order online they say it takes weeks. Lol! This thing saved me a load on furnace repair bills and started up just fine! Day two and still going strong for a 4th of the price a parts store wanted. Highly recommend! 5Exact replacement delivered when promised..!!! Because of the intermittent nature of my original problem, (with this old part in my furnace system), it has taken me sometime to evaluate if this part was the solution to my intermittent problem with my furnace. After two weeks of continuous and steady operation, I believe I can honestly say now, with confidence, that this part did, indeed, solve my intermittent furnace problem with it not starting up all the time. Thank you..!!! 5This product is fairly easy to install Four stars because It was just installed and I have no Idea if it will last. THE FOLLOWING INFO IS FOR HVAC PROFESSIONALS ONLY AND NOT FOR ANYONE ELSE!This product is fairly easy to install. It was done in around an hour by someone who took it's time to make things go smoothly. First off the unit is installed by removing the burner valve assembly on the LOWER side of the furnace. The assembly pulls straight out without removing any wires or gas supply on the furnace my professional worked on as I observed. Then the snail looking duct is removed after and the individual doing the work made sure not to harm any gaskets when removing either assembly. The snail looking thingy was set aside and the bad vent motor assembly was slid downward until it disconnected the upper duct that is attached to it. Then my pro pulled the upper duct towards the front and away from the furnace to make room to squiggle the vent assembly out of the furnace. The new part was put in reverse order taking time to adjustthe shape of the new part to fit the original hole. My pro mentioned that duct parts like this are not always completely round and may need to be compressed in areas to make the slightly oval tube round. The pro slid the new part in place, then reinstalled the snail thingy. The valve assembly was put back in and all the sheet metal screws were tightened. The only issue the pro had was the new part wire connections had to be changed out to fit the furnace wires.Other than changing the wire connections the whole job was done by this screwdriver: IRWIN Tools 9-in-1 Multi-Tool Screwdriver (2051100) found here on Amazon. The pro said any similar tool will work as long as it has a 5/16" nut driver or socket thingy.I am sure glad that I have a cousin that knows a guy who has a pal that is a HVAC pro who could come over to install this for me. 4what a job putting this thing in it works , yes we got heat . thank you . i did it my self , first timer . the part worked and fit very well , the problem was , line up the screw holes , to the burner unit , the snail looking thing , that was a pain in the romp roast . after about 3 hours of getting no were , i took most of the screws off from the top of the heater , had my wife push the long pipe , don't know the name of it , anyway , she pushed it in place , while i pushed the top of the heater up as far as i could , that worked , the snail looking things , the burner , was lined up , screws in when we done it , what ever works . i used metal tape around the burner , and pipes , just for precaution , didn't want any leaks . so far so good . 5Whisper Quiet, Great Deal! I have only had the furnace vent motor (aka Inducer motor) installed for 4 days, so unfortunately I cannot attest to its longevity..BUT it is whisper quiet, I can actually not hear it, which is a far cry from the original furnace vent motor that came with my Coleman furnace that has whined loudly since the day I bought the house (I bought the house brand NEW). The heat is back up and working, the part is in every way shape and form identical to the original, and the price on Amazon was great. 5Ahhh heat I have a Coleman Mobile home furnace that was installed about 7 years ago. It started getting pretty noisy at startup with the blend air fan rattling quite a bit then it threw the 3 flash code for the blend air system. Not wanting it to break down once it is cold outside I replaced the vacuum solenoid and this blend air fan, total cost of repairs was just over $50. Took me about and hour to install (no hurry) and it fit perfectly. The only issue I had was that the blade connectors on the wires were not the same as on my furnace, so I had to cut them off and install new wire connectors. Furnace startup is now so quiet you can hear a mouse fart. This was my first time working on a furnace and thanks to bajaman in the questions and answers segment for a well described repair procedure it went fairly smooth. 5
