    need to buy more I purchased this for my MP3 player so I could listen while cleaning, i really do not like ear buds and hate that they constantly fall out. Both my mother and daughter saw these and now they want one the sound is good nice and clear and easy to use. I now keep losing them to my daughter who loves them. 5Coby disgrace to speakers This is the worst set of speakers ever. My phone is louder than these speakers. Not even worth buying.. I purchase this item to use with my cell phone when listening to satellite radio on the road. My cell phone speaker is louder and clear then this item. I got them for my smartphone and the phone's built-in speakers are louder! They are only 5 bucks, so can't complain too much, but definitely not worth any money...I'd spend an extra 5-10 and get real speakers, not these crappy balls. Also, it draws power from the audio jack, so that probably attributes to its lack of volume... 1Nice little speakers for the price. Cheap price, but just what I wanted for plugging into my phone to hear my music better in my room. You can't adjust the volume, except from your device, but they don't go beyond a normal level. If you like to listen to your music loud, these are not the right choice for you. These speakers work as well as the set they replaced, and at $5 I paid a lot less for these than I did for the speakers they replaced. From a volume point of view, they actually work a bit better.The sound quality is good. I did try one song that was heavy on bass and it seemed a touch anemic, but it did not sound tinny or reverberate. And, well, if you want GREAT sound, spend more than $5 and get great speakers.These speakers do not take batteries, so they do draw power directly from your device. I prefer this, since even though I'm planning to use these on my desk at work I'd rather plug the iPod into the outlet once in awhile than keep speakers plugged in all the time. I don't like replacing batteries either and it seems to me that buying a cheap speaker system that requires batteries sort of defeats the purpose of buying the cheap speakers to begin with. Also, I think the lack of batteries just makes them all that more portable.So yes, I'd highly recommend these to anyone as being both functional and economical. 5work good Happy with them, good sound considering the size and cost.
