This forestner bit works well but it did not meet my expectation due to the undersized lazy Susan offered by VBX. Their 40mm is really not 40mm because it measures 1.55 and not 1.57 which is actually 40mm. I did not want to ding the bit because it performed as required, but VBX does in fact state their product is undersized, but I did not catch the difference in time so I ended up buying a 1 9/16 bit to make it fit. 5I was skeptical when purchasing this bit thinking it would ... I was skeptical when purchasing this bit thinking it would be a cheap Chinese bit. The bit is made in Italy and is about 1/4 the cost of similar bits. After much use, the bit still makes clean, no tear out cuts. 5Not bad for the money I'm a cabinet maker and needed a 40mm forstner for one project and picked up this one, it is relatively inexpensive. I found it similar to the CMT router bits I own: fairly good quality, but I don't rely on them for holding an edge. So for the occasional oddball job, they work fine. But for bits I use all the time, I'd consider consider another brand. 3Good while it lasted Hasn't started smoking yet, but cutting power quickly declined after about 80 holes.Trying a different brand of inexpensive forstner to finish off my project. 3Perfect for votive candles I built a candle stand for use with standard votive candles in glass. I had previously made the holes to fit smaller votive candles, but I am unable to find a consistent supply. This bit allows use of the votive candles found everywhere 5Size of Poker Chips Meted something to cut holes the size of poker chips to frame them. This worked perfectly! Made a great gift for my dad 5None Nony 5Great Bit! We were making a homemade Harley Davidson poker chip holder, of course they were mm. This bit worked perfectly, and they fit in there very snug, but with a hit on the back of the board they come out! Worked great! 5
