    Good no-frills laptop sleeve, fits HP Pavilion dv7-7010us This is a standard zippered sleeve. Nothing special. It does the job of providing protection and cushioning, without any bells and whistles. One problem is that dust and lint show up quite well against the black fabric material. Because of the texture, it is impossible to brush the dust off with your hands. You'll need to use a lint roller or sticky tape.I got this specifically for the HP Pavilion dv7-7010us 17.3-Inch Laptop (Black). It's a big unwieldy machine, due to the prominent protruding battery, which practically doubles the height profile of the laptop on one end. As a result, I have to put it in battery side up. It causes an unsightly bulge in the case, but it fits.I would've liked 2 zippers and a wider opening. A wider opening lets you insert and remove the laptop much more quickly and easily. I really like the Tucano Neoprene product line for these reasons. And their styling. That model won't fit my HP, but if you have a Macbook Pro 17", I recommend checking out the Tucano. I have 2 sleeves for my Macbook Pro 15" and love them. 4This Laptop Sleeve is perfect for my Dell Inspiron 11 3168This Laptop Sleeve is perfect for my Dell Inspiron 11 3168 (3000 series) in every way !! It is exactly what I wanted: Inexpensive; Great looking; very protective; and perfect fit - not to loose not too tight !!I considered this model Case Logic LAPS-111 11-11.6" - and the other similar model - the Case Logic ELS-111 11". When you look at the product info page at Amazon for the Case Logic ELS-111; it says this unit is sligtly larger than the LAPS (even tho the name suggests it is a bit smaller). It also says in the comparison matrix on that page that the "Enclosure Material" for the LAPS-111 is PLASTIC - while the enclosure material for the ELS-111 version was canvas !! THIS IS INCORRECT. The LAPS model has the same soft foamy / canvas type material inside and out !! It almost swayed me to get the ELS version - but the reviews for LAPS model indicated a better fit for my laptop - so I went with it. I'm glad I did !!In summary - my Dell Inspirion 3168 outer dimensions are W: 11.5" H: 8" Depth: 7/8". And this case fits perfectly. Mine did come with a foam insert which you could insert with the Laptop to snug up the fit (as suggested by some reviewers) but I don't see the need !!!5Good fit for Thinkpad W520/530/540; Almost nonexistent paddingPro: Fits Lenovo Thinkpad W520, W530, W540 portable workstation laptos.Con: Inadequate padding.The W520/30/40 resembles other Thinkpads of the period, but is thicker to accommodate a larger cooling system. The many sleeves that claim compatibility with 15.6" laptops do not fit this series. This one does. The looseness of the fit that other purchasers complain about is beneficial. It fits a W520 not tightly, not loosely, but just Goldilocks in between.Unfortunately, the padding is much worse (thin or nonexistent) than that of many of the cases that do not fit. "Memory foam" is at the top of shock protection. EVA is next. Neoprene is at the bottom, and heavier. I think this one is EVA, but it is so thin, with so many gaps, damage is almost guaranteed. The foam is continuous across the bottom, but the bottom edges, the most vulnerable points, are completely left out. The sides are left out too. In these areas, the foam is replaced by a strong but incompressible fabric. Perhaps this was done to increase resistance to tearing. The zipper area is, of course, completely unprotected.My standard is that with the sleeve placed in a lightweight bag, such as a Targus nylon "messenger", it must protect against a drop from shoulder height. This one will not. I have actually found very few sleeves that will. Even the fancy South Korean memory foam sleeves/bags deliberately leave out or provide extremely minimal edge panning. This is cynicism in the extreme. You drop it, you lose it.2Decent case. Solid valueThis product held up for about a year and a half. Definitely not very water resistant as it is just mesh cloth.5Great quality, but it will NOT fit an Alienware 17 R5 Very well made, resistant fabric and zippers. Check the compatibility list or compare carefully the measures to ensure your device will fit. The Alienware 17 R5, for example, is huge even for a 17 inch laptop, so it requires a 18" case. 4High Quality Laptop Sleeve I own several Case Logic products so I figured I was getting something good when I ordered this laptop sleeve.I ordered it for an HP m6 Sleekbook (which I THOUGHT was 17 inches, but actually turned out to be 15.6 inches), so this case ended up being too large to use; but the product is still really great. The neoprene is really thick, and cushy, and keeps your laptop well-protected, insulated, and scratch-free.I ordered a smaller neoprene sleeve by a different manufacturer to replace this, and by comparison, the neoprene was much thinner. I was actually disappointed, because this Case Logic sleeve spoiled me. For $20, I think you get a little bit more for your money when buying the Case Logic sleeves.Just beware the size. Measure your laptop dimensions carefully before buying because this sleeve is EXTRA LARGE. Very large. I carry a U.S. Army issue backpack that is much larger than a standard school backpack, and yet the sleeve barely fits inside. This leads me to believe this case won't fit most backpacks that you could buy at a grocery store. I guess if your computer is actually this size then you probably already know that.Overall, I have no complaints about this product. Thick, soft, with a high-quality zipper that isn't likely to break or fall off. Definitely a 5-star product. 5Much too big for a 2015 13" MacBook Pro RetinaLove the color, love the materials. Nice matching zipper pull. This gets it 3 stars.... but ....As other reviewers have stated, it is about an inch too long and a half inch too wide for a 2015 13" MacBook Pro Retina. I might have been kind of OK with this if it came with the extra foam padding inside as one of the other reviewers posted a photo of... but mine did not. And anyway I really wanted a more form-fitting case so that it would take the least room out of my bag.Should have listened to the other reviewers ;-(3It's really not great protection, thoughThis is adequate if you just want a slight bit of extra padding, or if you mainly want to keep scratches off of the surface of a device. It's really not great protection, though, and the material feels really cheap and sort of unpleasant in my hands. That was a surprise, because I've gotten stuff from Case Logic in the past that was an absolutely fantastic value for the money spent.I thought this would probably be fine because I was looking for a slight bit of extra protection for a laptop that was going to be in a laptop backpack, but between not liking the feel and not liking the amount of padding (particularly around the zipper area), I ended up deciding to go back onto Amazon and order a different one (made for Alienware) that I decided felt better, had a nice accessory pocket on it, and has really nice handles stitched onto it well, and didn't end up costing me that much more money in the grand scheme of things.I still have this, and even though it's kind of oversized for the purpose I might toss a Chromebook into it or something sometimes to keep it from getting scratched by other stuff in my bag, but I'm not really comfortable relying on it as a truly protective sleeve.3Case Logic is a winner! I just invested in a HP Envy TouchSmart 17t all decked out for close to $2000 bucks. Funny thing is I usually always had my mom custom make me my laptop sleeves for previous laptops from very soft blanket like material. There were always amazing. I was close to doing the same when I got this new one, but chose to investigate the sleeves that were out there.My sister has a mac book pro and has one of these Case Logic sleeves. I really dug it so I found it here on amazon like I do for everything and gave it a whirl. Needless to say, it turned out to be super dope.My one concern was the computer getting scratched by the zipper, but the other reviews were correct when they said Case Logic had designed a great rubber lip that makes scratching a non issue.Love this thing...definitely recommended to all y'all! 5Great fit, protection for HP Spectre x360 13"Perfect for slipping my HP Spectre x360 13" into my briefcase -- I just leave the sleeve in the briefcase, and can access the laptop through the zippered top. It's a good fit for the x360 with about 1" extra space at the zipper, comfortably snug fit the other (long) dimension.The foam is thick enough to provide real protection despite the slim profile, and it wraps under the bottom of the laptop. The construction feels solid. The foam is sturdy, not flimsy at all. The surface is resistant to getting scratched or torn. It has a good medium-weight zipper; mine slides smoothly. I appreciate that there's a foam rim just inside the sleeve along the zipper, making the laptop less likely to rub against the zipper and get scuffed. That rim does catch on the laptop when I'm pulling it out of the sleeve, so it takes two hands to get it out. That's the only downside I've encountered.5Mediocre Laptop SleeveAverage neoprene sleeve for my 17.3" HP Omen laptop. There is a seam on the inside which helps protect the laptop corners from rubbing directly against the zipper, which is a nice feature and the fit of the sleeve is perfect for my laptop size, with no excess movement--fits like a glove. However, the neoprene of this sleeve is very thin and not exceedingly protective. If you are using this as an extra layer of protection when inside another bag, this will be perfect. If you are using this as your only protection for your laptop, you will be in a world of trouble.3Fits my ThinkPad P70 17" perfectly! This fits my ThinkPad P70 just fine.The ThinkPad P70 has dimensions 16.4" L x 1.2" W x 10.8" HThis Case Logic has the description: So I went ahead and bought it and ignored the Community Answer that said it won't fit.Glad I bought it cos it fits perfectly for my ThinkPad P70 (see the photos). 5Consider what you need the case to DO before you decide what type to purchase... Certainly fits. Soft and awkward to carry. I would recommend finding one with a small handle given the size and, maybe a bit more scratch and dent type capacity. I'm always carrying it protectively and worried my Dell will still get damaged (at the airport, etc.). Probably not a flaw per se, as it was exactly as described, I simply didn't know what I actually needed.... 3Does NOT fit Asus ROG gaming laptops.Does NOT fit Asus ROG gaming 17" laptop. Had to return the item. If it is only intended to fit standard slimline 17-inch laptops, the item description should state so accordingly.1Use the foam insert!This sleeve fits perfectly with my Toshiba Chromebook 2. It comes with a foam pad, and at first I took it out because I thought it was just filler, and the sleeve felt super loose with my laptop in it. But then I took a look at the foam pad again, and I found that you could cleanly pull it apart into 2 flat pieces. Now with the two pieces in the sleeve, my laptop fits perfectly between the foam, and it provides a ton more protection. Not sure if you're supposed to do that, but in the end, it worked out great.Update: Everything is still great, but multiple people have said that they didn't get a foam pad with their case. If you don't get one, the case is just a little bit too big for a Toshiba Chromebook 2, but it still is a good sleeve regardless. As long as you're taking good care of you're laptop, you'll be fine!5Too big for Macbook retina and material is too stiff for my liking.I bought this for my Macbook Pro Retina 13 inch and the sleeve is a bit too roomy for my liking (like everyone else is saying). What someone else said about the Macbook being able to fit inside the sleeve along with the foam that originally comes inside the sleeve was true for me as well. I could probably fit the foam and maybe even another notebook or small novel. I don't have a hardshell case or anything, though, so maybe if you do have a shell on your Macbook, it'll fit better.It's my fault for not checking, but I actually thought I was buying a neoprene sleeve, which I don't think it is. It looks like neoprene, but the material feels rather stiff and foamy and less pliable and soft. Also, because the material is rather stiff and the sleeve is big, I could stick my Macbook in the sleeve and shake the laptop around, if that makes sense. It is thicker than neoprene, but decently so without being too bulky and seems like it would provide a good amount of cushioning for toting around in my book bag. I was actually considering returning it to buy an Incase sleeve, but the return cost of shipping would have been pretty much the cost of the entire purchase. It's actually not bad, but I definitely would not buy again and if/when this case gets worn out or damaged I'll probably go for an Incase sleeve.3Cushioned, but not Protected This Case Logic laptop sleeve is comprised of two sheets of soft, thin foam rubber covered with a knitted fabric and a top zipper. The foam protects the laptop from scuffs, scraps, and light nudges and is a good choice for carrying a laptop in an attache case or backpack, but by itself it is not a sufficient substitute for a sturdier case. It will not protect a laptop if dropped or accidentally hit against a solid object such as a desktop or door frame.The fabric picks up lint and dust like a magnet; however, a light brushing will remove the lint and dust.There are no pockets of any kind inside or on the outside of the bag for papers or accessories. The laptop fits into the case very snugly.Moderately recommended for when only minimal protection of your laptop is required. 4
