Customer Reviews

so I guess it worked out just fine. Delivered next day, on a Sunday, by a cute mail woman, so I guess it worked out just fine. 5Keep it cool and it will last for years. Greenlee has taken hole cutters to the next level. I have used this size cutter for 4 yrs from my old set and it finally gave out. So there was absolutely no better choice for me. 5Game Changer..These are among the best hole saws available on the market. Be sure not to drill too fast, be sure to use cutting oil & these things will work to perfection..5Works greatIf you want a great hole saw for metal these are the best.4Drills perfectly without need for center punch. This pilot drill works great. No need to punch a center mark. Just place the center of the pilot drill where you want to drill, hold it steady and start drilling. I've done several holes in 18 gauge steel and each started exactly where I wanted with no wobble or tracking, exactly as advertised. 5doesn't include arborlooks like an awsome cutter i couldn't try it though because the picture is missleading the arbor and pilot are not included4works greatI used this cutter to drill some holes in an automobile frame. I drilled them into the underside where the frame is double thickness (a boxed frame). Its almost 1/2 inch thick. Worked very well, but I went through 3 pilot bits. I recommend drilling a pilot with a 1/4 bit, then using the pilot to only center the cutter. The temptation is to cut with the pilot, because its a very hard bit that cuts well. However, it can't handle any bending whatsoever.4Great product just don't lean on it This saw is great, it cuts almost anything easily as long as you don't lean on it like a drill bit. If you do that you will sheer off the carbide teeth. Simply apply lite pressure and let the blades do their work. The great thing of the quick change is when cutting stainless is, if you can't use a cutting fluid spray bottle, is you simply and quickly remove the saw from the arbor and dip it in the cutting fluid and reattach it. We cut about 350-400 holes in stamp plate stainless per saw. 5Five Stars A must have for installing a 30 mm pushbutton in stainless steel enclosures 5Save labor hours when cutting holes in stainless steelWe were having excessive hours when we began using stainless steel electrical enclosures instead of carbon steel. The cost of those hours was really adding up. Switching to this hole cutter is saving a lot of time. And each one will do hundreds of holes through stainless steel. Shop around on Amazon for the best price as I found quite a variation.5Five StarsSame quality as original equipment5Four StarsGood.4Very well made. If you look the carbine tips on these are big and set in deep. I recently bought a carbine hole saw from home Depot, dablo, for cutting through old rock plaster. Those teeth are so small. Can definitely tell the difference between a $25 and a greenlee. (Of course the Greenlee couldn't cut as deep as the dablo) 5Five Stars One of the best tools I have bought. However sometimes the pieces come off why you're drilling 5Five StarsDoes the job for me5These hole cutters work great. However the website says "free shipping" and mine ...These hole cutters work great. However the website says "free shipping" and mine came with a $40 bill for the shipping! Needless to say I complained. We'll see if I get my money back.2Product works great cuts really well Product works great cuts really well. However much like the other piece it's comes out of the Chuck really easy 3Five StarsSolid product5Excellent Cutters! I had been using step drills to cut holes in stainless in a small part time fabrication business. These things have taken the work out of it. Step drills, be they cheap ones or high end, do not last long when used on stainless. The one size Greenlee cutter I use the most shows no sign of dulling after about 50 cuts. When using thes cutters, after the cut is complete the cutter will bottom against the ridge in the side. Allow the cutter to come to a stop in this position before withdrawing from the hole. Otherwise the cutout ejection spring will invariably snag on the side of the cut, be pulled off and will fly who knows where. 5
