    tool did perform as designed, helped me find my ... tool did perform as designed , helped me find my battery draw . But if its supposed to make a noise I can't hear this one . 4Great Idea ! Keep in mind that some modules are designed to "wake up" depending on what options the vehicle does have, you will need to research what is commercially acceptable on that circuit, things like having the key close to the vehicle, courtesy lighting etc.. however if you narrow down a circuit that is supposed to not be active on the BUS you do not need to remove the fuse it does provide an accurate reading when compared to a traditional ohm meter draw test. 5Five Stars works great & saves a lot of time tracking down parasitic drains 5Five Stars saved me all kinds of time This is the same tool Mac and Matco sell for a lot more... 5Absolutely the best way to find parasitic drains in vehicle electrical system Absolutely the best way to find parasitic drains in vehicle electrical system. Very accurate. The only negative is the beeper is hard to hear, but the tool overall is a must for diagnosing 21st century electrical systems. 5I have found this to be one of the best designed tools I have used lately I have found this to be one of the best designed tools I have used lately. The holding function after a test is the slickest operation I have found, you are not required to perform any special set ups for it to work. The tone is weak on my unit, but I don't find it to be a problem. 5Best Amperage tool yet! GREAT TOOL! Very easy to use. I put the test leads across the top of the fuse and I get a beep. One beep means that there is no amperage flowing in that circuit. If I hear 3 beeps, it means that there is some amperage in that circuit. If I want to know how much amperage is in the circuit, I just have to set the tool and it will tell me exactly how much amperage is flowing in that circuit. Finding a parasitic drain is a piece of cake since all I have to do it touch the fuses and listen to the beep! I have saved a bunch of time with this tool! 5Clever diagnostic tool. If you do your own trouble shooting, you need this tool. This tool can locate parasitic current draw on fused circuits without removing the fuse. This helped me locate a current drain that was due to the automatic headlight circuit in my car. Easy to use. 5GREAT TIME SAVER Great tool.Use w/Power Probe hook for parasitic draw test. Guess i could use regular dvom and run through a 20 page down load to find how much draw, Nice part is i just beeps when no power through circuit so you don't even need to set it up til you find currant flow. GREAT TIME SAVER. 5Huge time saver and problem solver I've been chasing a parasitic battery drain in my car for months now. Mechanics couldn't find it either.With a clamp ammeter, I could see when the car was pulling excess current. So I tried pulling fuses, but wow, what a chore to pull a fuse and then get up to go check the ammeter. Worse, because the drain would come and go, by the time I got to the problem circuit, the drain would typically be gone again and escape detection. Ugh.Then I found this thing and decided to try it. Basically you just probe the fuse tops and it gives a steady tone for no current, or beeps for current (and shows the amps). So I can zip through the whole fuse block in a minute now, and because it's so quick I was able to find the problem circuit while it was acting up (it was the ancient telephone module, which I don't even use, so fuse yanked and problem solved.)Absolutely a great tool for finding those pesky battery drain problems!!! 5
