Using this extension cable to attach a memory stick loaded with old CD music to my car.Honda recommends the extension cable rather than inserting memory stick directly into car outlet. Worked fine and "blasted" Transiberian Orchestra all thru the Holidays.5Saves Wear and Tear On Computers' USB Port! I use it to reduce wear and tear on the computers' USB port. I connect and disconnect multiple flash drives several times a day and this is much easier and cheaper to replace than a hardware mounted USB port. 5Works great, paired with a Flirc usb dongle to my Nvidia Shield TV. This worked great, so I nkw have line of sight to my Flirc ir usb dongle to controll my Nvidia Shield. No more need for 2 remote controlls.I plugged the usb extension cable into the back kf my Shield. Then used 3M double sided tape to secure the ext cable to the Shield TV. Next pluged the Flirc usb dongle into the female connector on the ext cable. Whoala.... 5Work as intended.I needed to create ports at the front of my box to allow controllers to plug into my RaspberryPi 3 and they worked without issue. I would say they're well built because I accidentally squished one of the female connectors and I bent it back to normal and everything worked fine. They're fairly short, so make sure they're long enough for your need.I bought 3 and all of them have worked without issue with my RaspberryPi 3.5A good short USB extension cableSometimes you just need a short USB extension cable. I have several USB meters and find these cables are the perfect fit to connect a meter from a USB charger and allow the meter to be positioned better for reading the display. Before I had to keep the meters sticking up and it was difficult to read the display. I also like the design of having a non metallic shell around the entire female end. It gives it a cleaner look. I have purchased other cables from Cables to Go and have received good reliable service. I wanted this so my large USB flash drives would not stick straight out. But I found an even better option--a $2.99 Hengsheng Right angle cableHENGSHENG USB 2.0 Extension Cable - Right Angle A Male to Female - 0.7 Feet (20cm) that allows me to leave the USB drive behind the computer. Speaking of right angle cables--I also bought a pair of blue UCEC cables. They're rated highly but neither one of mine worked. This C2G and the Hengsheng right angle worked perfectly, however, so i suspect the UCEC has quality issues (others noted this). I'd go with C2G or Hengsheng.5Good quality extender for my smart tv remote dongleI have a nvidia shield tv box. The remote was crapping out on me. Hate that it doen't have any physical buttons and the internal battery is not easily replaceable so I ordered a new android USB remote. The remote came with a small dongle that plugs in to a usb port but requires line of sight. The nvidia is tucked away in the back of my tv cabinet and the USB ports are on the back so I used this cord to wrap around the back and face the front of the box. Now my new remote works great!5Just what the doctor ordered....The C2G USB 2.0 Male to Female was exactly what the doctor ordered. The cable is for my Mazda CX5 which has a USB port in the center console and plugging in a USB thumb drive can mean one can damage the port if you are not careful removing stuff from the center console. The use of a 6" cable saves the port from abuse and the USB thumb drive now hangs in a safer area. Its pricey for what the cable does, but its very well built. So I do not mind the cost. The rubber boots are high quality. This one will last!5Great for dongles so you do not break them I have a rackmount computer and use dongles. Like the ilok or Steinberg dongle. You can have a lot of money on these dongles in licenses. I pulled the rackmount computer and did not see the dongle as they are so small once and bent it. These cables prevent that from happening. They are short enough so you see the dongle if you need to pull it and use it on another computer. 5Perfect length for Nintendo Switch standard docking cradleI bought the Amazon Basics USB to Ethernet adapter for the Nintendo Switch (because Nintendo over WiFi is bad). It works, but I can't close the case of the Switch when the adapter is plugged in. I'm using the docking cradle that came with the Nintendo Switch. This 6 inch USB extension cable is the perfect length to fix my problem. The end of the extension cable is outside of the docking cradle. And my wired internet connection stats are the same so there's no apparent degradation in the signal.5Works great and makes hard to reach ports more accessibleI picked this up to make it easier to connect a USB drive to my television, as the USB port is directly next to the HDMI ports and runs parallel with the back of the TV (meaning the drive lays flat against the TV when plugged in). When you have cables plugged into the HDMI ports, it makes it a hassle to reach around them to unplug the drive. This does the job perfectly, without having a long cable hanging off of the TV.5
