    Justice. So much for jamless. I got the gun bought staples as suggested. Loaded it up did a test staple on a small wire on my wall. Felt confident pulled my couch out and prepped for my project. Climbed my crippled fat rear end up on a ladder- only to find out.. it s Jammed. Tried it again and again and nothing. Tried to get staples out. Can t. Pretty pissed! Worst part is after that test staple worked I threw the box away so I can t even return it. 1Its not a miracle stapler ! Its not a miracle stapler.I shot a staple to the 4x4 post went all the way in flush but not overly so.Shot 2x staples into the kitchen table and it left a space between the crown of the staple and the table top.USING 3/8" leg staple size.Mine was purchased new from Amazon but looked like the retail box had been opened.. 4Good stapler but do not recommend the Bostitch staples The design is a simpler one than my older staplers and it does not affect performance and seems to make the stapler less prone to jamming. It does have an initial load factor that requires a good deal more hand strength than my other staplers. The net result is greater penetration with the staples. I would not however recommend the Bostitch staples as their blunt ends are not as effective as other brands that have pointed tips at the ends of the staple. 4Tacks down perfectly, great power for a hand staple gun I absolutely love this staple gun. I'm not sure how some people still manage to give it mediocre reviews... I feel like it's far better than any staple gun I've previously owned it even used in my life. I'm sure there are powered options that are better, but that's a whole new realm. Just realize that you'll have to buy crown staples for it. It doesn't take standard ones. That was my only surprise, but they're worth it because they work better. I'm a woodworker, and I think if you're going to do it, you want to get it right. 5Best I've used. I would give it 4 1/2 stars if I could.This is the best stapler I have used.It almost always drives the staples home, the color helps you find it, the handle is comfortable.The staples can be hard to find, it takes Powercrown Staples.It seems like by now someone could design a stapler that uses leverage or gearing or something to require a little less force to shoot and absorbs more of the recoil. Not that this one is bad, in fact it's the best I've used, but come on... this is the 21st century!This stapler is far better than my last one, the Arrow Powershot I tried. That one has the backward handle, so you are pushing toward the staple... makes sense, just didn't work that great. 5Decent manual stapler - be sure to get staples that go with it It really is hard to find staples to fit this from anywhere local. Bought mine from Amazon. Pretty decent for a manual stapler. You will need a reasonable amount of grip strength to use this and it's tiring to do a lot of stapling at once. Used it to repair something minor.Staples were not included (it doesn't say they are in the description, but I see in other comments that people were expecting it to come with them). 4IT DOES NOT WORK I put my project aside until a day or two ago, and am unable to unlock the handle, I called Bostitch customer support and after being transferred once, the rep was unable to assist. He was , he said, watching a video (on Utube?) and the call disconnected. Guess I should have started my project sooner 1Not any better than other staple guns. This doesn't seem to drive staples and better than any of the other staple guns I already have. It's also very hard to operate. I actually thought it was broken because the handle wouldn't go down. Turns out you just need super human strength to push it. I'm not sure why it only takes the tented style staples either. What's the purpose of a staple that doesn't rest completely against the object (chair seat in my case) you're stapling? 3Easy to use! I am a 63 year old woman and I had a stroke so my strength is not good, but I reupholstered 4 chairs using this staple gun. Its easy to use and does not require a lot of strength. I used the 1/2 inch staples and they worked great! A great stapler for the investment 5Wow! A manual stapler that works! I've owned several manual staplers and this one is by far the best. It actually works! Most of them have issues - not driving the staple completely, jamming, etc. I've put up insulation in most of my garage and this one has been perfect so far. I did take note of some other reviews that said the Bostitch staples were not very good and I ordered the B&C Eagle staples. The combo is great! 5
