    Try a different flex bit I purchased this bit to run new electrical service in my 1915 home. I expected the bit to cut though wood floor and studs, but does not have enough bite. It will start holes, but not finish them. Each time I had to locate and drill holes using shorter bits. 1Five Stars great value 5One Star Terrible, make everyone awareness do not use them. 1Not very flexible This product did not flex nearly as much as I was expecting. After seeing videos of other flexible bits I decided to buy this one because I thought I was saving money. I suppose the reason it is cheaper is because it doesn't flex much, even after using a placement tool, I could not get this to bend the way I needed it to. For example, I was trying to insert it into a hole in the drywall close to the floor (same level as an electrical outlet) and go up to the ceiling with it. It would not bend enough. 2One Star The tip is welded on keeps breaking off bought 4 of these already same thing happens all the time 1Works as expected The bit works as expected, drills holes and serves as a fishing rod as well.Self-screwing, it took no effort to drill holes.Positioning was a bit hard, but again, I did not use any positioning tools, which should make the job much easier.
