BUT I was brave enough to remove the rubber piece that was screwed on to the screw LOL So Yes I got the right item and looking forward to the photoshoots thanks to the plate! 5It works Finally found a shoe plate to fit my killjoy pan head that i bought off of here 5Great Great 5Bento QR6 release plate I am actually a little disappointed with the machining on this plate, as it tends to bind when putting it in the tripod head. I haven't used a lot of video tripod heads but both the tripod head and this accessory just don't seem to reflect the careful quality control that some of the other more established firms generally exhibit. The same plate that came with the head worked somewhat better, but still lacked a good smooth feel to it. Of course, once you have the tripod head and you need additional release plates, you are sort of stuck with whats available. 2my husband fixed the piece so now works much better This little piece doesn t works very well the piece was very wide For the monopod , my husband fixed the piece so now works much better 3A handy extra to have in your bag I use Canon 80D and Benro tripod with an S6 video head, and I love it. Recently I bought a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. That lens is pretty hefty--and comes with its own tripod mount lens ring. It's pretty inconvenient when I want to switch lenses. With only one quick release plate, I've got to take it off my camera, put it on my 70-200, then mount the lens (with camera attached) to the tripod. When I want to remove the 70-200, it's the same thing in reverse. Kind of a pain.So, I bought this extra quick release plate so I can always have one on my camera, AND my 70-200 lens. Changing lenses is a bit faster now as a result.Bottom line: Benro makes great stuff, including this quick release plate. The plate is compatible with the S6 and S4 video heads--(and I hear it might even work with some Manfrotto heads as well). I recommend getting this quick release plate, especially if you've got a setup like mine. 5Works great on my tripod Bought some extra ones for my spotting scope as well as cam corder. They work great! 5
