Customer Reviews

Great cable concealer; have zipties or velcro straps handy Did the trick. We mounted our TV to the wall and of course needed to hide the cable. Another buyer was disappointed with how curled up it is, and is difficult to keep flat. After unboxing, I immediately feared it would be the case. However, after cutting to the proper length (just needed about 8 inches off, which was doable with heavier duty household scissors) I was able to adhere to the spot where I needed it.After peeling the 3M tape I used the soft side of my fist to run up and down the sticky sides. After a minute of doing so it had a very solid contact with the wall.A side note, have velcro straps or zipties. May be common sense, but it would be far too frustrating to deal with the separated wires and cables.I ran the bundled cables against the bottom layer, and the outer layer clicked in with relative ease.In the end, it looked much better and cleaner. The best part, the outer layer was simple to remove and replace when adding cables. 5Works for me. I like it. It was a little wonky to install but it works and is good once you get it in. The adhesive on mine was a bit sub par & kept falling off. Possibly because I was putting it on a wall with high gloss paint. I ended up using a few strips of 3M double sided tape and three nails just to make sure it stayed up. Bending the cover was a little tricky to get started but once you get it started the rest goes in pretty easy. All in all a good buy for the money. I did not paint it but the manual says it's paint-able. 4Blends so well with my wall! Highly recommended! Just like the other reviews before me (which I didn't read prior to it arriving in my out of country address), my concern about this molding is that it came rolled in a box. I was expecting a long box with a lengthy and sturdy plastic build. So after unrolling, the arc needed weight on it to flatten the whole length down. Fortunately for me, I had 2 10 foot long 2x1 pieces of wood for a home improvement project that I just purchased 2 days prior. I laid the wood on top of them and laid a 4 inch thick dictionary on the portion where it kinked the most. 24 hours later, I cut the two pieces to the length I needed. I then sanded the plastic which was to face my cement wall with 220 grit sanding paper. I did this so rubber glue would cling on the sanding since it was obvious the double sided tape alone was never going to stick to the roughness of my cement wall. With the help of a friend and 4 of our hands, we pushed the glued side onto the wall for a good 10 minutes. Positioned the cables into place and then interlocked the plastic face into position. 2 weeks later, it's safe to say the glue has cured and the length of the moulding is firmly planted on my wall. I love it when you improvise a bit and the results are above your expectations.I also love the fact that it's low profile blends well on my wall as it's unnoticeable in the picture below! =) 5Pretty difficult to work with Pretty difficult to work with. Does not want to stay in the track, but once you get it locked in it stays. The included adhesive doesn't last long holding it to the wall. We replaced that with another brand and some additional double sided tape and it works much better. 4Worst cable mangement product I have EVER used! I used this product on a flat screen installation where it meshed well with the client's decor. The run was also 70" so the 6' length was ideal (Many products are 60 inches and would have required a splice).I knew it would come rolled up bu I wasn't worried, I knew that some steam and a heat gun would flatten the coil... uh right. The tape is a joke, I never deluded myself that it would be strong enough, but I didn't mind alternating screws down the sides.I got both pieces nice and flat to go on the wall.HERE is the issue: The back was flat and straight, BUT the cover was NOT straight and curved slightly to the left as viewed from the top end. So, when you try to interlock the edges the outside of the curve, in this case the left edge as I faced it would not go into or if it did, would not stay in the track. I finally had to brute force it into place and screw it down... Now new cables cannot be added without removing the screws to free the cover. This is a HORRIBLE product! A good idea but a VERY poor execution. 1Frustrating product yet look good and neat when all done. Came in a box tightly rolled. Wasn't able to straighten it over night with dumbbell weight on. to make matter worst, the adhesive that is on the back of this cable management is poor quality and did not stick to the wall well because of the curl that forcing it to curl back to the way it came in and the adhesive that came with it, wasn't able to overpower the force so it came right off the wall.so I went to my local walmart and pick up a "3m scotch double side tape form" (which cost me $5) and apply it on the back of this cable management cover and it did the trick. Frustrating product but look good and neat when all done. 4Does its job Installed this about a year ago and it has done its job. Adhesive has stayed affixed to latex-painted wall, and the unit has stayed together and kept the cables in place. Looks good with a coat of latex paint on it. Was a bit annoying to install initially due to it being shipped in a coil, I had to lay it out and cover it with weights for several days to get it straight enough to use. Worth the effort though for a long-term installation. 4Paid for new, got a used and returned product. Easy enough to install, if you follow the directions (unlike half the 1 star reviews). My only complaint is that I was sent an obviously returned one. It was already cut, crookedly, the tape had already peeled off (thank goodness it was the piece I didn't need) and the piece I DID need has a black mark smack in the center of the part everyone sees that I couldn't get to come off. All in all, you get what you pay for. It looks better than a wad of cables. If it ends up not staying in place I'll edit this, but probably still keep it and just buy some other sort of adhesive from Lowe's. Yay for owning and renting. 2Ignore the Negative Reviews This One is a WINNER!! I absolutely can't believe this fabulous item is receiving low reviews with people citing that they couldn't straighten or install it. I installed it quickly and easily, no problems at all. It does come rolled tightly but you just need to use the flattening technique described in the instructions (holding it between your legs and pressing it in the opposite direction section by section with your hands. I was able to straighten mine out within a few minutes of doing this. It attached right to the wall without any hassles and looks great!! See photo! If you're considering buying this, do it! Just follow the directions and it's a breeze to install. I had several cords coming from my TV to my speakers, Roku device etc, it looked horrendous and now it FABULOUS!! Yay! 5Did the trick As stated in other reviews, the product does come rolled pretty tight. After opening the box, I promptly cut the length (about 18inches) that I needed and laid it on the floor. I put a couple of 10lbs weights on it to flatten it out. I left this over night. The next day I pulled the weights off and it still had a little curve to it. No big deal for me. I pulled the backing off the 3M tape, lined it up, and pressed firmly up and down along the tape (only did this for like 30 seconds). It's holding like a champ. It did take me a few tries to get the cover snapped into place. All my cables are hidden, and it looks great. All in all, I don't think I would have had to flatten it out at all. I'm pretty sure I could have just cut it to length and stuck it to the wall right then and there with no problems. 4
