    Excellent door entry intercom system for our churchMy church purchased and installed an Aiphone intercom system consisting of two IF-DA Door Stations, an IE-2AD(U) Handset Master, and two IEH-1CD Sub-Masters. This provided a door-entry intercom system serving two entry doors and three offices. It took our four volunteers about five hours to install the system utilizing the existing doorbell transformer and doorbell wire to one door. It was relatively simple to install, and we were pleased that the system worked fine when first turned on. The hardware appears sturdy and durable, a major reason we chose Aiphone based on other reviews. The only problem we had during installation was fastening the wires to the screw terminals on the devices. The wires kept slipping off the terminals. Then one of my coworkers noticed that there is a small metal plate under each screw, sort of like a square washer. The wire is supposed to be inserted below that plate not above it to lock the wire in place. Our only concern is how well the door stations will hold up in our cold Nebraska winters. 5
