In theory its great, but unless you want a $200 gigabit switch I suggest you buy something else.1Fast as expected, now my HDD is the bottle neckI purchased this with two ASUS XG-C100C 10G NIC's and can copy files between the m.2 drives on my desktop and home server at over 1,000Mbps! Only drawback is that my m.2 drives are under 500GB and I use them for booting and apps. The larger storage drives in both of my computers are still 7,200RPM 4+TB hard drives and can only read at 200Mbps and write at 100Mbps.4Great unmanaged switch performance out performed every other switch I have had.Great unmanaged switch performance out performed every other switch I have had. Same problem as a similar netgear fanless switch and even a more expensive QNAP actively cooled switch. The Unifi XG6POE doesn't have this problem but is more expensive and louder.It would have been so nice to have a quiet switch with 10g uplink and 10g access point link, but the poor performance on the 1g ports is a show stopper for me.3
