    Description

    • This Standard Universal Camera Adapter is precision made of black-anodized aluminum and is compatible with 1.25" telescope focusers.
    • Compatible for both reflector and refractor telescopes with 1.25" eyepiece holders.
    • Useful for either prime-focus or eyepiece-projection astrophotography with refractors or reflector telescopes.
    • Lets you attach a T-ring equipped DSLR or SLR camera directly to your telescope. The barrel of the adapter is threaded for 1.25" filters.
    • Accepts 1.25" eyepiece inside for eyepiece projection astrophotography. Projection adapter for 1.25-inch eyepieces of up to 38mm outside diameter.

    Replacement of Damaged Item After initially giving this item a 3 star rating for poor quality control I have decided to change this to a 5 star rating. Astromania Optical sent me a new replacement item at no cost to me. It was received quickly and works correctly. Thanks Astromania Optical for doing the right thing. 5Works perfectly,exactly as described. It works perfectly and you can put a 1 1/4" telescope eyepiece inside. It worked on my Celestron,but I need to make the base more stable as the whole setup with my DSLR is a bit heavy. 5works well My advice is to separate the 2 pieces. Put your lens into the holder and find your object THEN attach the camera 5Perfect Very good fit and finish! Threads don't bind! Shipped promptly. Good value. Fits my Sony Alpha mount adapter perfectly (sold separately). 5Good quality and features for the price It's a simple device, but necessary for amateur astrophotography. The adjustable slide is really the key piece; I'm glad I did not buy the non-adjustable one. I am able to fit my Super-Plossl and regular Plossl inside without any issues. It's constructed with precision cut metal and doesn't have any sharp edges or other imperfections. Very nicely crafted. 5Works great! Did exactly what I wanted it to do. I can connect my dslr and still use an EP.No issues with build quality. The threads were all clean, and everything assembles smoothly. I ve used it several times, and had zero issues in the 7 months I ve owned it. 5Great quality for the price This adapter is well built and easily supports my heavy Nikon D810 body. The quality of the Aluminum seems to be top notch as it feels pretty sturdy and locks down solid with the thumb screws. Definitely worth the price. 5It's perfect. All metal, no plastic. The thumb screws ride in grooves cut in the main tube. The threads are smooth, no burrs or snags. The Celestron T ring mates perfectly, screwing on smoothly. Nice and heavy. All in all very well made. I was an inspector in aircraft for 40 years. If I tell you it's good, it is. This is good. 5Very versital Can be used with out without a 1.25 sight piece inside it 5Able to take video/photos now! If you want to hook up your dslr for your reflector telescope and have a eye piece inserted, this is it. I couldn t get focus before but this did the job. I use a celestron 130 slt. You ll just have to unscrew(turn by hand) the 1.25 cap from the telescope and screw to this adapter and it works great! Google Nikon to telescope and you ll find a YouTube video showing how to easily do this. 5
