    Great tools for a beginner (me)These did the trick for me, helping to clean up 3D printed minis. I was having trouble removing all of the supports on my really old 3D printer, and had to deal with old software that did not create efficient support plans. Until I bought these, I d scrap every other mini because I d break them removing all the extra ABS.Now that I have these tools, I can reach tiny pieces and reduce lots of random issues. I still have to use a heat gun to remove the scratches and scuffs as well as the filament lines, but this is so much better than the alternative. 5Nice accompaniment to model toolsI value what others post regarding their experience with a given product. This was no exception. After having read the reviews, I figured I'd give it a try as well. I'm pleased with the files. I'll be using them as I get back into my model building hobby. A nice accompaniment to my model tools. 5Effective...but a bit too aggressive.These are well made files that quickly remove sprue remnants and mould lines. They appear to be able to stand up to rather vigorous use. However, the grit is rather coarse compared to similar files that I have now used from other companies like Testors. Despite careful application of force these left obvious grain/scratch marks on the resin miniatures I was putting together. I will be using other files instead of these. Perhaps they might be less of an issue on metal models but I don't have any such models to test that theory. 3Not files, more like raspsMisrepresented. Very rough, like rasps, not like files at ALL. If looking for files, don't buy. Am doing balsa wood RC airplane, these are very rough and wouldn't have bought them had I known that. 2Files don t file well.Extremely disappointed in these. It s not even and issue of how fine they are, the surface just doesn t bite into resin to file off material. They Also aren t for small project I feel. The surfaces are Fairly large and better suited for larger models. Not a fault of the files, just something to keep in mind if you re considering these more for 30mm figures. 1HappyPerfect for an art project I'm working on 5Good and effectiveThey are good, they are a little rough but I already had finer ones so these worked for my needs. Complement them with Jeweler s Files 5Gift for friendI bought these for a friends that did a lot of work with 3D printed figures but often complained about a difficult to they were too turned out. These tools are very good if you need to free a 3D printed figure and as I understand that they're also very good with metal figures but I haven't had much experience with that so take it to that 5Decent, does the job, kind of large and rough.Good files, not as small as I thought they'd be. Also the burr on the files isn't as fine as they should be for such small work. If you really want a fine file for really intricate work that won't need extra sanding look into jewellers files, they probably won't be much more expensive than these. These decent files for larger areas and bigger models, not so much for mini figures. 4Turns a chore into a pleasurable experienceTrying to use normal sized files for miniatures was trying my patience. These files make the job an enjoyable process instead of a chore. Learn from me and buy these along with a good set of detail brushes before getting into the hobby 5
