    Good replacement.Works as advertised. I used this to replace one lost during a bathroom remodel. Connects with the 2 wires and is secured by small set screws. They can mount with adhesive that comes on them or be screwed in. 5Easy to use and very sensitive.Needed to replace one when I redid our wired system. Has sticky tape so no drilling. Sensitive, so it isn't ascritical to get it in the right place. 5I don't like there's no cover for the screws terminalsInstalled this on my rear sliding door. Works well with my ADT Safewatch Pro 3000. I wish I had read the description more closely, I don't like there's no cover for the screws terminals. 4Good magnet, reliable.The magnet is good and strong so I had no reliability issues with this. The magnet opens the circuit at about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch away. I liked that the double sided tape was pre-installed as this made installation go faster. The circuit is normally closed with the magnet in proximity. Be sure that's what you need it to do. 5Better than the OEM alarms contactsI have a house alarm installed many years ago. I bought these switches to replace the older larger ones that were previously installed. I used these on the new replacement windows that were recently installed. They peform well, are less conspicuous, and easy to install. 5These switches are easy to install and work greatI used to be a professional alarm installer and service tech back in the late 60's and 70's. Back then the Ademco Number 39 switch was the very common and very reliable contact to use. Much later on the Ademco 940 Magnetic reed switches were the ones I started using. Anything that had the Ademco name on it was good in my opinion. back then, I had an account with Ademco and was able to buy directly from them. These days you need a contractors licence to purchase from them as well as any professional alarm supply company. I was happy to see Amazon selling these Honeywell/Ademco alarm contact switches and hope they are as reliable as what I previously used. The ONLY problems I had with my order was with the Amazon delivery service getting my package delivered: 2 days too late, 2 delivery transit errors as seen on the tracking system and the Delivery van's GPS tracking, and them coming up with lame excuses. The product is excellent though! 5Quick and Easy SecurityThis is exactly what I needed. Easy to install, and fit perfectly. I can sleep easier now. 5Works great.Great magnet. Needed to replace my stick on magnet part of the sensor with a screw on one. My old one was not able to stick onto the surface I replaced so a screw on one was my only other option. Did a quick switch a roo and worked just fine. Thanks. 5What's worse is the item is NOT eligible for returnThe item I received was Normally OPEN, not normally CLOSED as stated. What's worse is the item is NOT eligible for return.I HAVE JUST BEEN TOTALLY RIPPED OFF. 1Look nowhere elseGood sensors I bought these for my replacement windows and I didn't want to drill into the new windows so I purchased these senors and stuck them on and bingo they worked.as soon as you lift the window an inch the alarm will activate I will buy more of these window senors when I change the rest of the windows. 5
