    Good AntennaI like this antenna it sticks well and wind doesn't effect it. Receives good. No problems whatsoever. 5Really improves scanner performanceReally improves the performance of a desktop scanner when you don't have an outdoor antenna to work with. In my case, the scanner is in a metal equipment rack and I stuck this to the top of the rack. Huge improvement over the back of the scanner whip antenna. Has the right connector for most scanners too. 5Great indoor OEM replacement as well as vehicle mounted!This made a major clarity improvement in signal quality. I took the OEM extendable antenna off and installed this one, literally sticking it to the top of the scanner itself and immediately the popping and static were gone from the transmissions as well as increased audio from farther located signals sources. Originally purchased for my vehicle, and will be installed there permanently, I was amazed at how much better it is that the oem indoor antenna! 5Decent little antenna for my Uniden 246TPicked this up in November 2016 to use with my Uniden 246T scanner while in my truck. I'm a licensed amateur radio operator and have a ham radio in the truck as well. Though the ham radio isn't really built for high speed scanning like a dedicated scanner is I compared what I could pick up with my Kenwood and what I could with the Uniden once I installed this antenna on the Uniden. 4 stars as I expected it to do significantly better than the rubber duck but only got moderate results. I never had a scan come up on my Kenwood that I also didn't get on the Uniden. I have to say I will call that a success for the product. The antenna appears to be built well and holds onto the roof of my truck even in 80mph winds going down the highways. I would recommend this to others needing a decent external antenna. 4Great AntennaI love my antenna. being a magnet it was very easy to affix to the vehicle and run the cord through the trunk to the center front of the vehicle. I'm impressed with the reception I get on my PRO-164 I attach it to. When sitting in my 2002 Impala in parking lots I've heard comments about how people liked the antenna and now I am seeing people with similar antennas affixed to their trunk lids around town. Use for monitoring aircraft frequencies with the Whistler 1010 scanner in my vehicle. I'm a pilot. 5And I was right it works just fine. So I put this on my truck and ...I bought this to use on my liveaboard sailboat until I realized I possibly have a usable antenna about 43ft up on top of my mast for my VHF radio. And I was right it works just fine. So I put this on my truck and it does work very well. For example I can pick up aircraft traffic at Jax Int Airport which is about 48 miles away. I also pick up local public service traffic very well. Overall very happy with this antenna. Especially like the smaller cable diameter which easily fits into the window track and allows the window to close all the way. 5Excellent antennaAntenna works great for how simple it is. I use it with a very basic handheld scanner in my car and it picks up signals all over the city. It is positioned on top of my car and it does hold on in speeds in excess of 80 MPH. However, the packaging is tricky - have to be careful when taking it out not to cut anything. Also, rubber tip on end does come off easily and the antenna will bend under any weight. It is still great for price and would recommend to a friend. 5It worksPulls in signals way better then the rubber duckie antenna that came with my new BC 125AT scanner. 5
