    Awesome dust protection, great value for the price! I bought these specifically for mowing at my work. The lot is fairly dry and the grass is patchy, which means LOTS of blowing dust and grit in blinding quantities. I wear contacts, but on days I have to mow I just wore my regular glasses, because the amount of grit that got into my eyes would be absolute murder if I had contact lenses in. However, even without contacts, it was a miserable ordeal mowing and getting grit and dust in my eyes. I began searching for gasketed safety glasses hoping to find a better solution, however the biggest drawback I saw on most models was fogging. Not wanting to trade one problem for another, I began searching reviews that specifically mentioned fogging and found that most other glasses out there share that as a common problem.Enter 3M. Reviews for this showed several people reporting that fogging was not an issue, and considering the price compared to other glasses, I figured these were a solid bet. I wore them for the first time mowing, and on one turn, a gust of wind blew a cloud of dust and grass right back into my face. I instinctively closed my eyes, but then opened them again figuring that this was the ultimate test. Not a single thing got under my lenses the entire time I was wearing these, and I never had a single issue with fogging either. What really impressed me however, was when I finished, I wetted a washcloth and wiped my face off. That little sucker came back COVERED in dirt, which meant that everything on that washcloth had the potential to have found its way into my eyes. Thanks to these glasses, none of that dirt ever made it that far.If I had to have a complaint of any kind, it would be that there's not a yellow tinted lens option. I'd LOVE to have a pair of these for snowblowing in the winter, which the yellow tint would be ideal for. 5They work, AND they're actually comfortable??? Seriously glad I found these! I've tried both the protective sunglasses by Dewalt (they work, but they hurt my ridiculously thin/bony nose after just a short period of wearing them (should be fine for normal people, so nothing really against that product) and mad-scientist-style goggles (they certainly work, but they're so uncomfortable I don't want to wear them, plus mine are only for indoors and usually they're overkill for most tasks that don't involve splashy dangers). Both anti-fog, and both do reasonably in this area if worn properly. But it was painful to do so. So I began a search for something to save me achin' nose. These are super... comfortable, pretty good sun protection, fit my odd little face snugly without being painful and even play nice with respiratory protection. They have become my new go-to eye protection. And they're cheap? What the heck! They also have that nifty little ear plug threading feature, which indeed has come in handy.The anti-fog feature is above average; not perfect, but it's what I expected and comes down to wearing it properly against your face and other gear 100% of the time, which isn't possible in every instance depending on what else you are wearing (sometimes for basic allergy protection during gardening chores I just wear a gaiter, and this obviously lets a lot of hot air out and under the gasket). Luckily they're really easy to clean and replace and stay in place too.Conclusion: still would reach for goggles if it involves super scary chemicals splashing, or anything where you'll be blasted with a tornado of particulates from odd angles. For mowing/blowing/sanding, these are perfect. 5Great for motorcycle riding I couldn't be happier with these glasses. I purchased these for riding my motorcycle and I am extremely happy with them. I have purchased a few more so I have extras just in case if needed. They see you around my eyes perfectly so the wind does not interfere with my eyes. My eyes are very sensitive to light and wind and these glasses are perfect for me A nice surprise I had when I was cleaning the glasses is that the foam Seal is removable which I didn't realize for a while. I now use these glasses all the time not just on the motorcycle since I can remove the foam. I took some pictures to show you what they look like with and without the foam seal. I'm going to stock up on a few more because it seems like as soon as I find something that I like then they stop making them . You can't beat the price for this kind of quality. LOVE THEM!!!!Update: I just made another purchase. My husband had tried mine on and liked them so guess what.... I purchased a couple for him. 5Great when working as intended. Anti-Fog coating didn't last. If anti-fog is of top priority, look elsewhere. I know fog coatings wear off if you clean/touch the lens too much so I was extremely delicate with these, yet the coating wore off in a few days. The foam gasket traps heat and humidity which become noticeable after a few minutes of wear, and can make the glasses fog up on their own when the antifog coating wears off.The foam gasket is comfortable and seems to do the job, the tint is slightly too dark to use at sunset hours, which is unfortunate because I'd prefer to not need two separate glasses. A slightly lighter tinted version would be great.If you don't want to look like a low budget super hero geekoid, avoid the mirrored versions. The tint at least hides the foam frame. 3Work as advertised and are stylish enough to wear anytime. Good price and greatly reduce dust getting in your eyes while mowing. Nice glasses for the price. They are flexible and comfortable and appear durable enough to last for a while. The padded portion of the glasses is removable for easy cleaning of the glasses and the pad itself. The padding is vented at various points around the perimeter of the padded area, so the glasses aren't airtight, but this also allows them to not fog-up, either. While a bit of dust may still get past the padding due to the vents, especially if there is a lot of dirt kicked up when you mow, these glasses still considerably cut down on dust/debris from getting into your eyes. Much better than regular sunglasses. I also like the fact that these glasses, for the most part, look like regular sunglasses. I wear them even when I'm not mowing/weed-wacking. I also occasionally suffer from ocular migraines, brought on by bright light. While wearing regular sunglasses, sometime a bright ray of sun would get in from the sides and trigger the flashing that occurs with these ocular migraines. These sunglasses eliminate that problem, too.My only con would be that when it's really hot, I tend to get sweaty where the padding touches the skin around my eyes. While not enough to cause irritation, it becomes slightly annoying. Wiping the padding and my face with a towel rectifies the problem temporarily.Overall, I'm glad I bought these. They serve the purpose for which I bought them - cutting down on dust/dirt in my eyes while mowing - and also keep any sunlight from entering around the perimeter of the sunglasses, thus cutting down on the chance of experiencing an ocular migraine on very sunny days. You can't beat the price, either. 4Got these for dust, some wind, and ANSI protection. Very pleased. OK, so I still gave it 5-stars because the error was my own. It shows ear plugs and thought it came with them. It doesn't. That being said, I bought these for quick backup in brush firefighting situations. Some fires are small with little fuel, but still want to protect my eyes. The full helmet and goggles isn't necessary, but dust, smoke, wind changes happens. I'm the geek that always wears gloves and eye protection. I have been leaving my prescription bi-focals glasses (needed only for reading small print) because they are not wrap around and don't block any wind. These are comfortable, well made, and perfect for my particular need. 5Great Protective Eyewear MTB-er here.I have had multiple eye infections in one of my eyes. I try to be very careful and I always wear some sort of eye protection. Finally it came to this... glasses with a foam gasket around the frame. I have both the clear version and the sunglass / smoked colored type. Overall they are light weight and comfortable. I haven't had them fog-up unless it is extremely humid out. The foam gasket does do an even better job of keeping out dirt when mountain biking. And at $7, these are a relative steal. ANSI rated to boot!Cons:1. The clear ones look stupid. Why not just color the arms and outside of the lenses black and solve the issue?2. I'm not sure how long the foam will last against sweat. Only time will tell but I see degradation already. 4normally I would have cleaned my eyes out 3-4 times on a day like today, so I call these a fantastic purchase I just had a chance to try these out today, they worked flawlessly! It was 80* and humid today and I had no issues with fogging. I wore these to keep the sand out of my eyes while deployed to the middle east. Did the job and didn't break the bank. Around six months in, the foam around the inside of the glasses was looking a little bit worn but nothing had fallen off. By the end of the deployment I had managed to scratch them a bit so I chucked them as I got on the freedom bird. For normal civilian use, I could see these holding up longer, though.For those of you that like to use lanyards on your sun/safety glasses, just know that the ends of the "arms" are a bit fat. If you have a really skinny rubber slip on style lanyard, they may not fit.Would recommend to others and definitely will buy these again! 5Liked it so much I purchased more. I purchased these gasketed sunglasses for when I am cutting grass. I am allergic to grass and have tried (unsuccessfully) for years to turn my head to avoid the clippings blowing in my eyes. I have tried normal goggles in the past but they would fog and cause excessive sweating.They glasses worked great to block the clippings without fogging or causing too much sweat. They are also more comfortable that goggles and work well as sunglasses.I was so pleased with these that I bought two more and gave them to my Father. 5
