Even if you don't need 13 amps, this cord can be a good choice for black table lamp cords because of the excellent color match. 5Strong 15 AMP extension cord, but...This is a very well-made quality extension cord, however if you need an extension cord that you must unplug frequently with certain appliances, I cannot recommend this extension cord because the connection is so tight between the appliance plug in the extension cord plug that it almost cannot be pulled out, even with all my strength. Although this might be a positive for some people where the extension cord is stationary and permanent, it was not an extension cord for my use. I will keep it because I can use it in another application, but just be aware that if you need to unplug something frequently from it you had better build your muscles. 3Highest QualityI wanted a high-quality 3 foot extension cord, and this is exactly what I got. The outlet is tight and the cord is quite thick, 3/8 inch in diameter, and I'm sure it will last for many years. Local hardware stores did not have 3-foot extension cords--6 feet were the shortest.
