Sounds Great, Design and Molding not so wellSound Quality is great crystal clear, but the ear coil has no resistance so it comes out of the housing 2 or 3 times in a 12 hour shift trying to fish it out of your EMS Uniform shirt makes you look like a Psych Patient. Today while attaching the Accessory to head to the UofL vs Notre Dam Game the screw broke off at the head it requires a few extra turns to be tight compared to the OEM Motorola Accessories luckily I was able to use the screw from my OEM Public Safety Mic which is a much firmer tighter fit higher grade. I recommend this If you attach the accessory 1 time and leave it in place but if you switch accesories often the screw will no survive. to remedy the ear Coil coming out of home base I took a super small zip tie through the slats and made it snug so the coil can no longer twist, then cut the zip tie and heated the tip so it doesnt scratch your back.3Didn't workReally disapointed. I could hear great and the mike would key up but the microphone itself did not work. Looked like decent construction but just didnt work. Tried it on a few different radios with no luck. Going to have to return it sadly.1Works great!Works fabulously. I work in many situations, including inside electronic dance music events (aka; raves) and can hear even through all that. A great buy, and a life saver for me.5Unreliable TransmissionsI am in law enforcement, so adequate communication can literally the difference between life and death. I loved this product at first as it replaced the bulky shoulder move with the small PTT mic. The earpiece was comfortable with some minor adjustments, and the cords were ample length to weave through a tactical vest.I had the first product for less than a year and got mixed reviews from people about the sound quality of the mic. Sometimes I would come through clear, other times I sounds gargled and very far away, but usually I was understandable. The earpiece speaker was crsytal clear however.Eventually the cords broke loose from the quick disconnect and were unable to be reattached. I contacted the seller and they were happy to send me a replacement.The replacement was a disappointment. I used it for only one shift before deciding to return it. No one could understand my transmissions due to the same gargled, far away effect I experienced occasionally with the first mic. Every transmission had this effect and was so bad I had to switch back to my shoulder mic before the end of the shift.The build quality is decent but strength if the cables and their connections to other components could be greatly improved. Comfort is the best thing about this product due to the cable length allowing for multiple configurations and the acoustic tubing being flexible yet sturdy.I first thought I found a great bargin with the this product, but it seems too good to be true definitely applies here.2Hit or miss.This was my 2nd headset purchased. I gave the first one to a friend, which hes been using for 4-ish months without issues. But the last one I received quit working after one night of use. No sound is coming from the earpiece. But since I waited too long to try it out, I can no longer return it. I guess it's hit or miss with these.3Didnt work out of the box ( bag).The transmit side did not work out of the box. Could hear but not transmit. Took them to race where I work in the pit and could not talk the whole race. Could not contact them as the thin shield had to tore off to make them work in the connected earpieces, so no sense trying to return. Very frustrated. Now stuck having to buy another set. Disappointed.1Overall good earbudYour eyes do not deceive you, that is a clear hollow plastic tube. The mini-speaker is at the end of the cable where the clamp is, and the sound travels up the plastic tube. One disadvantage of this design is a background "humming" sound can occur due to vibrations from the plastic tube being buffeting by high winds, such as on a motorcycle.One fit tip: after you "hang" the clear tube over your ear be sure to twist the earbud so it is at the correct angle to fit snuggly into your ear canal.4Good day. However, when connecting your device, I found that the connector with the radio does not match the one you claimed (I send the photo). Also, when the microphone is turned on, extraneous pulsating noise appears.1Worth the money, highly recommend.I work fairly long shifts for a private security company, I've been using this product for 3 weeks now and it's absolutely amazing.I was initially concerned regarding reviews of unreliable transmissions. I do believe this may be attributed to the location of the PTT mic, mine is clipped onto my collar and as I've tested, sounds clear and works in the rain and wind. My mic is approx 2 to 3 inches from my mouth when I speak into it.In regards to the durability, I handle this device with care, considering the price point it's understandable that breakages will happen if you don't handle the wires carefully. That said once you have it all in place everything is sturdy and feels durable. The button on the mic feels good to press.The earpiece was uncomfortable for the first day and had to be trimmed down slightly, however this is to be expected, the sound quality was clear. After a few weeks of use I can't tell it's in my ear. I opt to use the pink earpiece as opposed to the earbud, this allows me to hear all background noise and enhances officer safety.The PTT mic is also safer than your standard speakerphone mic as it doesn't give people something to grab onto and choke you with. It's also light and stays stable if you have to run.There's a lot more I could say about this item, I recommend it.5
