    Understand tue title description May be my misunderstanding but the way it's worded in description led me to believe them all to be soldier connections. Once I received them and saw-o was bummed a bit about how thers like maybe 30 soldier and rest appear to be jist heat shrink butt connectors. Otherwise appear to be of good quality still and nice container for storage. 3These are great!!! I'm never really confident after melting it hot enough to see the solder run, so I put a piece of heat shrink over it when I'm done. My soldering iron is gathering dust since I bought these, and my son loves them in his job as an appliance repair guy. When I run low, I'll buy more. 5Nice heat shrink set ! Used this kit for a little of everything. this set seems to be of higher quality than other I have purchased. The solder seal connector that come with it are neat also. They work great as well just have to know how to use them. 5Easy to use, water resistance This product is easy to use, with water resistant, 210 pieces can last for a while, can also come with different sizes. My husband likes these a lot, he is the one always fix things, as long as he said it is good, then he really means it. 5Cheap. The solder is not very good. If you need this for a important project, go with a higher quality product, Like doing your in boat connections. Low heat solder can be done with a heat gun or soft flame lighter stay away from torches as they often create to much heat and cause the heat shrink to rip open. I would bet the old wire would break before the connection. 5Proper Use Use these "PROPERLY".The smaller wires that use the low temp solder sleeves must be tinned first.Some will argue this but it is required.Once tinned, place a SMALL amount of activated rosin flux on the tinned tips. (Kester)Have I stressed SMALL, TINY, ITTY BITTY amount of flux?The other models are crimp type with a tough heat shrink casing.You MUST use a circular crimper to "PROPERLY" use them. (smooth hemispherical)Use of other crimpers including indent types makes the heat shrink very thin at the crimped area.When the heat shrink is shrunk, the crimp area will tear and you will create exposed metal.(a serious shock hazard)Proper crimping tools are cheap, so why use pliers???? (who knows)A heat gun is the only correct way to use either model of butt connector.I am motivated to insult all who would pride themselves on their handyman skills with pliers, hammers, glue, and duct tape.Instead, I will only state the obvious.These work just fine and work very well IF.... they are used "PROPERLY". 4Product works great Maybe I just didn t read it right I thought they were all solder seal but only half are the others a crimp with shrink ends 3
