    Worked great this Christmas for my LED display Worked great this Christmas for my LED display. Affordable and high quality cable. Much less expensive than I could buy at my local electronics supply store. 5Nice LED wire For quite some time, I was using 4 conductor cable for my LED lights. However, this was not cost effective as I only needed 3 conductors. I purchased this wire because it seemed to be a better bargain and I would not be wasting anything.In terms of the wire itself, the 3 conductors are a true 18 gauge. They are insulated with a relatively thick insulation on each wire. The only downside of this cabling is that it is not designed for outdoor use which means the outside insulation is rather thin. Nonetheless, I am currently using this wiring outdoors for the holiday season and so far it has held up great. 5Worked to extend the switch harness for a light bar Used this cable to extend the switch harness on my light bar. I cut the factory harness of the light bar and ran this cable inside the truck cab and then soldered the ends to the harness. Switch and light work great without issue. 5Perfect for my project This wire arrived in two days and was just as advertised. I am using this wire for RS232 external control of a home theater TV and it was perfect for the long cable run required between the TV and an equipment rack in an adjacent room. The in-wall CL2 rating, the pure copper stranded wire, and 18 AWG wire size made this product perfect for my project. 5On Time and awesome quality.... Package came in as promised. Wire is tightly spooled nice and neat and ready to go! Wire is excellent quality and easy to solder. Just be aware that when you apply solder to wire (tin the wire,) the wire's insulation retreats back quite a bit. As a result you will have to compensate for the overall wire length so that when you tin the wire with solder, you may need to trim the wire itself back so you don't end up with a lot of bare wire at the solder point. 5Great product, easy to use for wiring LED lighting :-) Great product, easy to use for wiring LED lighting :-)This product is great, it comes in a roll and it is very flexible. I used it to wire a dozen LED lights and it worked great! 5Good unless you're using this with soldered connections I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand everything is exactly as advertised. On the other, the insulation melts easier and quicker than on any other wire I've ever used. The insulation melts about 3/16" away from wire heated just barely to the point that lead solder will flow and it's very easy to melt away significantly more. The only way I can reasonably solder this wire to anything is if I add about 1/4" of heat shrink tubing over the insulation I want to keep. If you're using crimp connections, screw terminals or similar this wire probably works great. If you're soldering connections, this wire is a poor choice. 3It was "as advertised" and to me it was a good purchase, reasonbly priced and speedy delivery without shopping ... Product arrived quickly, and undamaged. IMHO it is a better deal to purchase a roll with more than you need than it is to buy only what you think you need and risk having to go back for more, and paying twice the price in the process. Thanks LED Superstore for a great purchase and a speedy delivery. 5Excellent cable for LED strips I'm using this for WS2812b strip to convey power and signal over several feet. I didn't realise when I ordered it that it was oxygen-free copper (OFC) which is a plus in my book, and surprised me considering the relatively low price. Good quality materials and easy to cut, strip, solder, all-the-things. Voltage drop could have been a big problem on my project but this cable is well suited for it. 5Not for Addressable RBG LEDs The wire itself is fine but the 3 wires are twisted together inside the outer insulation which causes the green signal wire to get corrupted from the field created from the current traveling through the red and black wires. For Addressable Neopixel strips (WS2811/WS2812/WS2813) the green signal wire need separated from the others or the 3 wires should be parallel and flat to minimize data line signal corruption. 3
