    Exceed expectations.Strong magnet. Even with a 56' whip and at freeway speeds, holds very strong. For this price I didn't expect it to be such a great quality that it is. As far as cable, I didn't have a great radio or a tester but does a very decent job with a scanner. 5Five Starsgood 5POOR PACKAGINGThe two stars are based only on the packaging due to damaging the product. For some unknown reason, the magnet arrived with a bag of sharp tipped screws (see photos) magnetically attached to the base. This caused small pits on the silver coating and the plastic edges around the magnet. Not too intelligent. 2Excellent replacement.Great product. Easy swap for older mag mount. 5Works great!Strong magnet and a sold build all around. Best alternative to not having to permanently mount an NMO antenna on the roof of your vehicle. 5Does the job, better for small antennasDoes the job on my 4 foot antenna, but gets knocked off easily on low branches. I wish I went with the 5 inch version. Think the antenna I use is a little to much for this size of magnet. 3GoodHas a weird connector to the radio, I didn t read the description close enough.
