    Great pool for the moneyEasy to set up, however DO make sure your ground is level. No matter how level you think it is to begin with. Buy or borrow a nice long level - a construction/building level works good - and even out your ground surface first with a nice layer of sand. If your pool is 10' round, that means you will need AT LEAST enough to cover 100'Square. Multiply that by a couple of inches. Now recheck with your level until you have a good flat, level foundation to put it on. Cover with a tarp or pool ground cover bigger than the pool diameter. We purchased a bigger pump, the one included is for 530 gallons per hour, and the pool is 1080 gallons, so you do the math. I would also highly recommend a nice pool skimmer and a salt system. Ahhhh, crystal clear water! Intex is a good brand, and I've never had a problem with any of their products. 4Well worth 84 bucks!As a previous reviewer said, "The pool is just the right size to just sit and cool down. There is enough room for a couple of adults to sit and have a some kids playing." I have had it for 4 summers. I only have a small amount of flat area but it is perfect. Because it is a little small, the water heats up fast and stays warm. My 4 kids love it. My wife and I love it. I cannot believe it has withstood 4 years of hard use with no leaks. My kids beat the heck out it and bring their friends over to beat the heck out of it. After 3 years the pump did die, we are on our second pump. You need chlorine, this pool will turn to cloudy nastiness if you do not put a tablet in every day.UPDATE: Well, after 6 seasons of use, our pool started developing holes. The first one was a slow seep, the second was a pin hole. I patched both of them (one on the outside and the other from the inside and under water). The hoses were cracked this spring when I went to set it up so I picked up some cheap replacements. I can see weak spots in other places when the sun hits it so we're going to dump it when the summer ends and replace it with another. Luckily, we're almost done with the swim season. 5Poor quality, don't expect t to last even weeks. It is fun though if you are lucky enough to receive a quality checked product.Poorly designed. The inflatable air ring on the top edge of the pool started leaking air day 2 and caused huge wastage of water. After a week a leak developed at the bottom of the pool and is slowly draining water. Once the pool is setup it is fun though, fun may not last long but it made my daughter happy for few days.Here is what I did to overcome issue with leaky inflatable bumper.1. I slit a 6 inch cut in the bumper and inserted fat pool noodles to provide flotation, and wallah it worked, better than unreliable air inflation.2. To add extra strength and firmness to the top rim of the pool, I purchased think 1/2 inch diameter plastic pipe (flexible) from Lowes and ran it through another set of pool noodles to make a circular garland of pool noodles and positioned it inside edge of the pool, it should snugly fit underneath the inflatable air rim (now has fat pool noodles in it), it gave the pool a more firm look and the top edge does not slouch or droop down.3. THIS IS A MST. Setup the pool on a ABSOLUTELY leveled surface. Use bubble level seriously to ensure you have the water not pressuring the water one side of the pool. I recommend setting it up on a a a ery clean and leveled sand bed and not on grass or a uneven soil or slanted concrete. 1I would recommend this poolMy family and I certainly have gotten a lot of use out of it. I have a 3 year old who has literally learned to swim in this thing. I also have a 10 year old who can't get enough water play. We've cleaned it out and refilled it once (since we bought it a few weeks ago) because the pump suddenly stopped working for unknown reasons. It wasn't because the pump broke, but it just randomly turned off. We bought a cover for it so that the water could stay clear and clean. The cover, in conjunction with the pump, help the water to stay cleaner longer. My husband laid down some rubber toy padding (like this:https://www.amazon.com/We-Sell-Mats-Multi-Color-Borders/dp/B0014H9Y6O) beneath the pool so it would be less likely to tear on the bottom, and so it's soft on the knees and feet when sitting inside. The first day it was setup, there was a tiny tear which we had to patch. The pool came with a patch kit and haven't had problems since we patched it. Overall it's way more functional and stays cleaner longer than other little pools we've purchased for less than $100. I would recommend this pool :) 4Great pool but get a bigger pumpPros: easy to set up, great size, perfect starter poolCons: Pump too smallNow that we've had this pool for about a month now I feel I should write a review. We love all aspects of this pool except 1. The pump. Invest in a bigger pump for an extra $35 & you will love this pool 100x over! The pump it comes with takes about 4hours to cycle the pool when it's full so the water doesn't have a lot of flow. Stuff will settle to the bottom right away & that drove me nuts. But now with the bigger pump we love this pool & can actually keep it clean!! 4Good value for the money despite a slight flawWe set the pool up on a level concrete slab with a ground cloth under it-- it went up without an issue (trust me, when the instructions say "level surface", they REALLY mean it-- from previous experimence it is a real pain trying to put it up if the ground is off even just a few inches).. The only down side is when this particular pool was made, the seam in the middle and around its edge overlaps and creates a debris trap. It's as if it wasn't trimmed close enough in assembly (with previous intex easy up pools we've owned this was not an issue).. The little filter appears to be efficient based on the amount of yuck it collects every 5-7 days but it is easy to replace and maintain. Prepare to either siphon the bottom occasionally with a spare hose or you could get an inexpensive pool vac for all the bits of debris that are too heavy to be collected with the filter. Otherwise for the money it is a decent value provided your site is appropriate for its use 4Good value for summer entertainmentWe have had one of these pools every year for at least ten years. I'm disappointed that we can't get the 10ft in a 36" depth as the 30" seems babyish to my 8 and 9 year old. We can usually get two years out of the liner but the pumps don't make it through a season and have to be replaced. At any rate it fits the small area we have and is larger the regular baby pools so we are able to splash around and enjoy the outdoors in hot, Houston summers. 5We were so excited to get a pool with a ...We were so excited to get a pool with a pump to keep it clean for long periods of time but the pump stopped working after three days. We weren't going to disassemble everything to ship it back to Amazon. Filed a claim with intex but we haven't heard back yet 1Love it!!!We ve had the pool up now for about a month and we are super pleased with it!! Our three year old granddaughter is three feet tall and this is a perfectly sized pool for us to teach her to swim in. I love cooling off in it too!!! It is very important that the pool, when setting up, is level. We used a sand base, then we bought a bunch of those kid s foam puzzle mat pieces at the dollar store and put those over the sand (they measure about 11 X 11 ) they come 10 to a pack and we used 10 packs, works great!!!! Overall very pleased for the price!!Update: Nearly 3 months and still doing great!! Easy to keep clean, I recommend changing the little filters every couple weeks. Really happy with this purchase!!! 5A terrible purchase.I purchased this pool a month ago for my grandson and the photos are within an hour of set up on July 23. I gave it one star for easy set up but everything else was terrible. After filling it up we found it was leaking in five different places. Four at the seams and one puncture on the side. Then within an hour the top ring was deflating. I contacted the seller who first said they would send a new one then changed and said I had to cut a square out of it and send back before he would replace it. We were very upset after all that time to set it up and the money to fill up the 1000 gallon pool, so we decided just to patch it as best we could, let our grandson enjoy it for a little while and throw it away. The pump also is not big enough for this pool. It was useless. Never again. 1
