    Perfect kneeboard for a student pilot Perfect kneeboard for a student pilot. Has all the bells and whistles (more than I need personally) to alternate to either knee depending on your flight profile. 5Great fit One thing I would recommend to the manufacturer that would be a cheap addition is two small strips of Velcro that can be used to attach a tablet. I have the LG X Tab 8 and it fits the area PERFECTLY. Exactly what I was looking for. The slot on the right (behind the pen holder) is the perfect space to temporarily hold the check list while not needed. 5Modular and Expandable The velcro makes this modular and the configuration flexible. You can always stick anything to the pads. Quick advice: get the ASA sheet covers, some binder rings, and easily make your own custom checklist/flip book. 5Highly recommended for every pilot. This is the fourth and absolutely the best kneeboard I have owned. It s well constructed wiith a quality feel. It gives the impression that it was designed by a pilot. The accessories are detachable and others can be ordered from Flyboy, so you can customize it to meet your requirements. The only con is that the reverible model is only available in black. I would have preferred olive green to match my uniform. 5Great product I have no issue with the product. Works as intended and is built well. At the time of purchase, I didn't think I'd be getting a tablet but I did. I solved the "no slot for a tablet" issue by adding velcro to the unit. Fits an 8-inch tablet perfectly. Only another odd thing is that little pocket. I'm not sure what to use it for as it certainly doesn't fit any modern cell phone. I wish this unit had a place for a modern cell phone. 5Excellent but for one thing... Excellent but for one gripe. The material used for the clip board is too thin. I modified mine and made a new one out of thicker plastic and it makes the knee board 10 times better. It also stays put on my leg better. I also covered the Velcro hooks on the back side so they don't tear up my clothing. 4Works well as a Kneeboard, less as a clipboard I needed something for when I go on field tests and also something useful for when I'm driving around and this fits the bill pretty well. It straps on really well and the Velcro works great too. I purchased the other extras that Velcro on separately from the manufacturer directly and they are also of good quality and the Velcro is great. It's a lot of stuff and with the belt loop strap, it gets to be a bit cumbersome and a little unwieldy at times but it does seem to work alright, probably better if you're taller (I'm about 5.5').Anyway, one of the features that have been said is that the clipboard can be used standalone and it's kind of true. It needs to necessarily be a little flimsy to allow it to bend along your leg but standalone, it doesn't work out as nicely because it is curved. Not a huge deal but it's not quite what I was expecting but after thinking about it, it makes sense.It works well overall and would be recommended for anyone that might need something like this for quick notes while sitting in a moving environment. 4Five Stars Great product, excellent design and craftsmanship. Just love it. 5Great kneeboard Slim design. Ambidextrous and comes in handy for checklists and having pencils and a cell phone pockets easily accesivle 5I fly with Flyboys in my Diamond DA-20 What a great kneeboard! It works even in my relatively compact cockpit in my DA20. Other kneeboards I've tried interfere with the stick or just spread out too much. As this one is reversible, I'm able to have my checklist pages open to the right and stay out of the way of the stick.In addition, I must say I'm impressed with Flyboys as a company. There was a picking error in my order, and they went above and beyond in making it right! Bravo! 5
