Customer Reviews

Fits My iPad Pro 10.5 (A1701) Comfortable Grip & It Doesn't Alter Sound!I purchased the Ztotop Case (E-Denim Black) for my iPad Pro 10.5 (A1701) (2017). I ve had it for a bit less than a month and I m extremely happy with my purchase. The material feels durable and comfortable to grip. I use the horizontal stand every evening and it works great, it definitely feels safe and secure while I navigate through websites and YouTube videos. The sound is not negatively altered by the case at all, every video and song I ve tested on the iPad Pro 10.5 (2017) sounds great, this was one of my concerns before purchasing, so I m really happy the sound remains on point.I ve also tested both the front and rear cameras and there aren t any weird corner shadows in the photos, I ve had that problem in the past with other cases. The only area that concerns me is the corner near the rear camera, that corner of the case feels delicate, and a strong shove down a backpack or purse could cause the edge to bend, but if you re careful, it shouldn t be a problem.I m planning on updating my review in around 6 months to see how that corner, and the case altogether, held up.(First Rating 5/5)Cheers!5The Ztotop Premium iPad 10.5 inch Case Is The Best One Out There I Have FoundI'm getting tired of buying cases for my iPad Pro that are weaklings at best. This one is the best I've found for the iPad Pro. I've been a fan of the heavier leather cases for the iPad made by SNUGG but they no longer offer even as good as this Ztotop. When it comes to the iPad, I want the best and I believe this is it. While it still seems a little flimsy to me, the others are far more flimsy so I'll recommend this one as the best, best for features like the strap that can be placed around the back to make the entire case, opened up and iPad, all one piece and easy to hold and work with. The setting notches to place the iPad at a working angle on the desk are a little shallow for my use, I would ask for them to be deeper and to hold the iPad at an angle in a stronger way. I do painting and drawing projects on my iPad Pro using the Apple Pencil so I don't want the thing moving around but to be held solid. Like I said, this one is the best, but I'm still looking and may not find one better, but always looking for the best. This one gets five stars and I can recommend.5Really Solid Case for Good PriceThis case feels well made, and I really like that it turns the iPad on and off when you open and close it. I keep finding small useful features, too. Some people said they have difficulty with the iPad staying in its notches while in stand-up mode, but that hasn t been a problem for me, yet. I also use my iPad for writing books, so most of my work is done on a magic keyboad, not on the screen itself. I really like the strap that keeps the back flap in place, but the hand-strap feels a tad weak. I might resew it or something. My only large critique is that on an old, poorer-made case, there was a flap you could fold back to access the camera. This doesn t have it, so you have to pull the flap completely down to take pictures, and that can be a bit of a PITA.I don t know how to comment on the thickness, since the first case I got was really, really thin, but this case is nice and rather dainty, but still feels solid. The edges also don t wrap over the iPad which is GREAT for those of you who draw with the Apple Pencil.(And yes, that is the cover to one of my books. I m unabashed when it comes to self advertising ;) )5The outside pocket is versatile! I have two of these cases...Why I like this case: the outside pocket. Since I don't wear pants with pockets, I mainly use this pocket for my iPhone (6S+). It fits perfectly and the pocket is snug enough that I don't have to worry about it falling out. When it is meeting time, I grab my iPad, stick in my iPhone and any odd papers I need (it will hold several pages folded in half) and I'm off. I have also used it for a small notebook with the spine out, jump drives, and an extra pen.I have an iPad Pro issued by work and a personal one. I purchased the brown case for work and used it for a while before getting one for my personal iPad, which I got in navy blue. I love the look and feel of the brown case, it looks like real leather, has a bit of a shine to it, and feels nice. The navy case, not so much. It doesn't look like real leather, it is dull and the color is a boring shade of dark blue.Other likes: My iPencil fits snug in the case holder and has never fell out. The case has protected my iPad well. I haven't dropped it but I do toss in my commuter bag every day (along with my lunch, gym clothes, water bottle, high heels, and whatever else I need) without extra protection. I don't use the inside "handle" much but when I have it has been comfortable. I thought I would use the elastic strap for keeping the case closed a lot but I haven't; however, it is also snug and does its job. The stand works well. The iPad is easy to remove and replace in the case; no struggle.Overall: an excellent case! Get the brown one over the navy blue.5Looking for an iPad pro 10.5 case? Look no further. This one is perfect.I absolutely love this case. i have had my ipad pro for about a month and use it a lot. This case is perfect. It has a nice smooth, polished surface of high quality leather (whether its fake leather or not, I can't tell and really dont care). But it looks very professional and sleek. It has an elastic strap to keep the top closed, but you really don't need it. There is a magnet in the cover that sticks to the ipad (to automatically lock and unlock the ipad). The inside is a durable material that isn't sticky like silicone, but rough enough that the ipad wont slide out of the grooves. but not sticky/rough enough to be a nuisance. Honestly its perfect. It covers the ipad enough to protect all sides and corners if dropped. But it is not thick. Most cases are super thin or really thick. this is neither. It provides enough coverage and protection, while still being thin and sleek and elegant. The ipad snaps into a plastic case that is attached to the inside of the case. but the plastic is thin and not cumbersome. but definitely not cheap either. i have zero worries of it cracking or chipping. It is very durable, just also very subtleThere is a little tab for a stylus that I don't like. it kind of sticks out in a weird place. Also there is a handle on the inside of the cover so that when it's flipped to the back of the iPad, you can use it to hold onto the case. I don't really care for that and I really have no purpose for it, but it isn't a problem at all.Overall. i would highly recommend this case for anyone looking for an iPad case. it is GREAT!5Light weight but sturdyMy case was easy to install and fit perfectly. All cutouts were well crafted to make sure they do not interfere with anything. I accidentally was convinced on the case's ability to protect the iPad when it was pushed off of a kitchen counter and landed on a corner edge on the tile floor. there was no damage to either the case or iPad. The case is very light weight, thin, and easy to carry. The elastic band and hand strap make it easy and secure to hold with one hand. The small slit pocket has proved useful for carrying small papers such as receipts and business cards. Overall, I have found that the Ztotop case has been useful, protective and attractive addition to my iPad.5You want Protection, read this.My second purchase. The first one protected my iPad beyond my wildest imaginations. I do some stupid things, but this one is a doozy. Coming out of my work/grocery store I put my iPad which was in this Ztotop case on top of my van while putting my groceries into my van. It was cold out, had to get rid of the cart. Great, done, hopped into my van and started driving. About 3/4 of a mile and getting up to 35mph I hear something hit my roof and look into my rear view mirror and see my iPad tumbling off the back of my van. Instant sickening feeling, not to mention expletives. I had to drive a couple blocks before I could get back to it. Eventually found it out on the busy street. Well the case wasn't even scratched. The corners looked a little "bonked". BUT the iPad was protected. Turns on, no cracked screen, seems to work fine. Two corners of the iPad have scratches, but it works fine. I do think I got lucky, but this case really protected it while it flew and struck the pavement. During the impact the inner protective plastic carrier broke and really got scuffed. Hence, I happily have purchased the replacement. It's a good case and don't forget to use the elastic band to keep it closed when not in use. Also I like the inner band for holding it while walking, and it is handsomely stylish for a very good price. Strongly recommend.5Best IPAD 10.5 caseYes 5 starts and should be more! Here is my case for the review.Price: Lets face it, its a crime that these Manufactures charge so much for a case. We all know its 5 cents of outer shelf glued onto 1 cents of plastic. This case is fairly priced --- CheckProtection: yes there is better, rubber tires all around with built in screen protectors.-- But those look like what they are KID Protectors. Not something an adult wants to drag around. In fact you see very few Armor Cases seeing the sunshine unless its being used by a repair man.--- CheckLooks: See above; This case looks high class, You are not ashamed to use it in a meeting or at church. This case says I use this for more than games and facebook.--- CheckFit: Excellent. well almost too good. I can tell you this is not the case you want to snap off and on because your want to match your choice of clothing outfits. It fits well and snug with perfect cut outs. HOWEVER; it is hard to press the power and volume up/down. BUT apple does this all from the screen. --- MISS; YMMVFeature:1. Screen protection -- Many people want just a back cover. That will not protect your IPAD if it falls on the face. You need a cover that will not flop around like the tri-fold Icover. This is a flat padded cover that will take a much higher beating than 90% of the other cases including the "Mil-Spec" cases. -- Check2. Movie stand -- Yep got it just like 80% of the other cases. It has slots where the IPAD will sit in for a stable viewing platform. Note--Because it's a flat Bi-Fold it is far more stable than all the TRI-Fold cases. -- Big Check3. Pen Holder -- Yep this will hold you Pencil or just an ink pen with the built in strap.-- Check4. Sleep wake up -- Yep and it works. -- Check5. Cut outs -- Extremely well engineered. Not one issue that I could detect from charging to speakers. Well minus the volume up down button but that is offset by the edge protection... So its a CHECK -- .56. Flap Strap -- Yes there is a strap to insure the screen cover stays in place. -- Love IT and it doubles to hold the screen cover in place when reading the Folio Reading Mode. My preferred method of reading. -- Check7. Uncommon Pocket -- Not very many cases have this feature. I find it a necessity; Agenda, Program, Flyer or even your Tithes Offering can nicely and professionally be stored is this pouch. -- Check +1.58. Weight -- Well all I can say is they did the best they could. Its not the best, but its not the worst. -- Push YMMVResults CHECK +1 This is the case for an adult professional.5Near perfect design - highly recommendedThis case is for my Ipad-Pro 10.5". I love it and would buy it again. Happily all the negative reviews by others do not apply to my case (maybe my case is a more recent improved version). I have two suggested improvements and hope the company reads this.Unlike many of the other case designs, this meets each of my 8 "musts".1: All buttons and ports must be unobstructed and without the sound from the 4 speakers having to pass through a row of small drilled holes.2: Full view of the front, edge to edge, so as not to obstruct finger swiping (some cases cover a portion of the front with the "leather" vinyl material).3: The case must have ample means to prop it up for viewing on a table top.4: Sufficient edge and corner protection for drops.5: Secure gripping of the Ipad to the case without using glue or tape.6: A pocket for a cleaning clothe and paper notes.7: Not too heavy and not too light, a pretty color (brown for mine), a good feel, and no closure tab to get in the way.8: Magnets to activate the auto sleep mode.Multiple postings say the case does not fit their Ipads and they easily fall out. Some complain of needing glue or double back tape. Not so for my case. The backing "tray" has perfect dimensions so the Ipad snaps (clicks) into place when firmly pressed all around the edges. Postings complain of the plastic "tray" cracking. Mine has not. Some complain that it does not have magnets. My case has them. They are strong enough to place the Ipad into auto sleep mode when the case is closed. The handstrap is useful in either the landscape or portrait orientation. The reversible black elastic band is terrific and provides a sturdy closing force when extra protection is needed when traveling. However, the design could be improved if it was on the opposite half of the case just below the embossed name and just above the pocket's opening. In that location it would serve two additional purposes. It would hold back any papers that extend out of the pocket. Also, if reversed to the inside of the case it would provide a more substantial stop when standing the Ipad up for table top viewing (some complain the depressions that are intended to resist "collapsing" are not deep enough). Here is a second suggestion for the manufacturer. The two volume buttons at the top are surrounded by your plastic tray. Please remove the front facing plastic to give better button access. That is how you have designed the side button, why not do likewise for the top buttons? These two design changes will not add to the manufacturing cost.5I will recommend it to all my friends!!!!I will recommend it to anyone!I like this much better than the many other cases I've tried for my iPad Pro 9.7. I own both the Smart Cover and smart case from Apple but I like this case a lot more. It's one piece, but the leather feels nice and the case doesn't add very much bulk or weight. It feels lighter than the Apple case. Definitely recommend this case. It's also a lot less bulky than the jisoncase.5
