Bargin Priced AwesomenessHas worked outstandingly for my iPad Pro on a daily basis over the last few months. Sturdy, reliable, attractive display for using your iPad in either portrait or landscape mode and great as the device can charge while using. I have been using my iPad in the stand heavily on both WeChat and FaceTime since the COVID-19 outbreak started with my wife who was in China, during our 2-week quarantine after her return to the U.S. and still now while things begin to lockdown around the country. Before that I was also using it for watching the ESPN app and some gaming with a remote controller. I have previously used multiple other iPad stands at work and never cared for any of them let alone purchasing one for use at home. The design of the product looks great next to my iMac, yet is lightweight and easy to move to any room in the house. Takes only seconds to figure out how to use, versatile and at a great price. Just awesomeness!5Good Enough For Varied Home Use I wish it could remain stable atop our bed but the base stand doesn t have enough surface area. That s kinda our bad but also why not just make it a little more broad for softer surfaces like couches etc where people inevitably use iPads...in the comfort of our own homes and such?Other than that fault I am happy with the purchase. 5Stronger Than I Thought! I worried this wouldn t be able to propperly hold my iPad Pro 12.9 2017 model. Not only was it able to hold my oversized iPad, but also the iPad installed in a thick protective case by Supcase, but just barely.It does wobble ever so slightly when tapping the far side corners due to not having the gripper arm right behind them, but tapping the middle area of the screen won t cause it to wobble at all.I just wish it came in a space grey or product red finish.Overall, I couldn t be happier now using my iPad Pro as a mini portable destop with a bluetooth keyboard of my choosing. 5Great, buy! Well made, sits high. This is great! I have been having problems with my neck and the PT said it was probably from looking down so much.... reading sewing, knitting, etc. Most of these stands are rather short, but this one sits nice and high. I liked it so much I bought one as a gift for someone. 5Wonderful, Sturdy and Reliable StandThis is a sturdy, reliable and marvelous stand. Unfortunately, it really doesn't work with my 12.5 inch iPad, as it'll only hold it horizontally, and even then, it'll mangle the cover. I have been an iPad user since iPads were a thing. We have 3 of them in our house. I use it for everything, work, writing, emails, watching movies on Plex, cooking, you name it. I currently have an iPad Air 2 in a Devicewear case (that my husband teases me looks like an old school checkbook but I love it). Just a few days ago I was cooking a new recipe that was pretty involved and while I sauteed vegetables in olive oil and it was splattering everywhere I though to myself, you really need a better way to cook while reading recipes from your iPad. Behold the answer to my problem!! Here's what I love about this tablet stand:- STURDY/QUALITY: This thing is sturdy as hell!! Seriously, it feels like military grade or something. I have so many stands for things (everything from hand towels to headphones) that tip over but this will not be one of them! They did not skimp on the materials used. This is a very high quality item, from the stand itself to the hardware and tools included to assemble and adjust it! It's also beautifully and securely packaged and I love it when things come with all the tools you need to assemble it without having to dog through your tool box. I will be keeping the handy little allen wrench/phillips screwdriver they included!- PERFECT HEIGHT: This stand is the perfect height for pretty much everything I want to do with my iPad, and the limitless tilt and swivel options mean that it's always the perfect viewing angle too. Whether it's cooking from an online recipe, sitting at the dining table and checking my email while I eat breakfast or watching a movie or TV show at my desk, it's always perfect.- EASY: I hate it when gadgets require a PhD to assemble and use. This literally could not be more simple to assemble and use. It's completely intuitive, and while you don't even need instructions to put it together and use it, they include them anyway, which I always appreciate!- DESIGN: Probably my favorite thing about this stand is something that I didn't anticipate, which is that it will hold my iPad securely without me having to remove it from its case every time I want to use it! I just fold the lid back and slip it in. It will never fall out and yet it's very easy to remove when I'm done. I don't know what kind of witchcraft and wizardry they used to make the brackets able to hold any size tabled with a case on it securely without scratching, damaging or having to wrestle it free, but it's awesome!I don't know that there is anything more to be said about it. I hope this helps someone else!5This WILL tip over if you use the iPad to draw on!I have a 12.5-inch device. I bought this product so that I could draw on my iPad. The stand is way too light as it tips over whenever I use it to draw. I have to buy weights to add to the bottom.It is a good quality product, however. If you are using this simply to prop up your device and read or scroll through apps or whatever, then it should work fine as regular pressure won't tip it over. Despite my having such a large device, the hinge won't slide and the clasps hold on to the device firmly. It's great!If you are a store owner and are using this with square or other apps, I recommend using a different product. While the hinge allows you to rotate the product to face the customer, I believe the stand would be too light for you to effectively do so without fiddling with it a bit. Smaller devices might be easier to rotate, though. So if you have a way to affix this to your counter, I'd give this stand a go!3Pretty good stand, could use 1 minor improvementI bought this for work but my tablet is encased and doesn t fit this. I am using an iPad Pro with casing. It will fit an iPad Pro without the case. That being said, my child has to do Zoom calls for school. I put a different encased iPad in the holder and it has held amazingly. Easy to move the screen angle to fit his need. This unit is sturdy BUT I would not recommend for someone who needs to touch the screen a lot. Someone with neuropathy may knock it over because of the inability to sense how hard they are pushing. You could weigh the base down more if that is a concern or use a Bluetooth mouse. I would like to see the unit add an inch to the clamp . This is a pretty good tablet or smartphone stand. I would buy again.4Perfect!I looked at a lot of stands needed for an Ipad used to watch tutorials while learning a new drawing technique. I have a small table with a 4 legged tilted drawing surface on top of it which backs up to a wall, so have limited space. I'm so glad I chose this one! It's the perfect height to stand behind and under the tilted surface and it holds my Ipad Pro12.9 (2018 model) WITH an Otterbox Defender case on it with no problem. The holder is spring loaded and holds it securely. I'm more than pleased with this stand.5A Quality Stand for a Quality DeviceI ordered this mount to convert my iPad Pro (12.9 inch) into a desktop monitor. I use my iPad to do my professional and personal tasks instead of a computer. Having this mount allows me to use a keyboard at my desk like normal desktop computer or laptop. The fact that the mount has an Apple-like appearance is frosting on the cake .Assembling took a few minutes (I always read package instructions) with no surprises. Everything you need is included.The metal looks good and appears durable (I ve had mine for a few months without a hint of a problem). The plastic and rubber materials that the grip mechanism is made of is appropriate since those elements actually touch your mounted device. You don t want metal against the surface of your device since you ll risk scratching or marring the device.Last week I received my second Viozon Stand to hold my second iPad (the new 2018 iPad Pro). I am now leading a two-display life!I highly recommend this stand to all iPad users.5Finally got it to work for iPad generation 4 Don t know why I had issues at first, but the iPad generation 4 seemed too heavy for this stand. I even tried to flip it over but the weight makes the stand fall. But then the next day it was working fine... obviously user error so play with it. 5Sturdy enough for heavy use with drawing tablet.I use this to support my 12.9 iPad Pro for doing digital art in apps like Procreate and Clip Studio. I have a pretty heavy hand while drawing and it s sturdy enough to support my main hand alone so I can use external keyboard shortcuts with the other.I ve had it for several months and it shows no major signs of wear and tear. I did manage to scratch the plastic (on the back where it can t be seen) but it was during a move and I wasn t careful packing it so I ll call that user error :) Just know the plastic bits are more prone to getting scuffed up.As far as looks go, it s as close to apple quality as I ve seen. The white plastic doesn t mesh quite as well with the aluminum body but it s not the part you see so I can t really count that against it.The only downside I can see is also it s biggest advantage which is that it s heavy and solid. I wouldn t choose this model if you want something portable to take to work or class everyday but it s compact enough to put in a carry on for a trip.It s worth mentioning that I have a thin Smart Cover on my iPad. While it fits well, there s not much more room (maybe a quarter of an inch) if you have anything bulkier than that - 9 is the max width for this stand.5Pretty nice but several cosmetic flawsOverall this is a nice stand for my 9.7-inch iPad.My stand came with no instruction manual - only some diagrams printed on the outside of the box. An extra screw to mount the plastic mount to the rotating metal mount was included (2 total), along with a small Allen-wrench-shaped screwdriver and a smaller hex-head Allen wrench to (I assume) remove the rotating metal mount or adjust the tension on the ball-joint.An important assembly point is that the back of the plastic tablet mounts are slightly curved, and the rotating metal mount on the metal base is shaped to fit this curve. You need to orientate the two together when you assemble your stand, otherwise the curves will not match and there will be unnecessary instability when you press on your tablet screen. See my first photo to see the gap at the top and bottom of the interface between plastic and metal mount if assembled incorrectly.There are about a dozen cosmetic flaws, such as deformed areas of rubber and plastic and small dings on the metal on my stand. Nothing too bad, but I would expect better for the price. My second photo shows one of the many areas where the plastic/rubber molding and interface is flawed.One side of the plastic mount is fixed, and the other side moves in-and-out to adjust for different tablet sizes. It is spring-loaded, and it holds my iPad with an Otterbox case pretty secure. Because only one side moves, if you use it in the vertical mode, the tablet will not be centered on the stand unless the tablet is about 8-1/2 inches wide. My 9.7-inch iPad is off-center about an inch to the right in this vertical mode. Not a big deal, but it does add a little instability when I push on the right side of the screen.The base of the metal stand is 5-1/2 inch at the widest point. Front-to-rear 5-5/8. Overall height to the top of the plastic mount when in vertical mode is 10-1/16, and varies from about 12 to 14 inches high in vertical mode with the large plastic mount, depending on the size of your tablet.There are four 1-inch by 3/8-inch non-slip rubber pads on the bottom of the metal stand.The metal finish matches the base of my silver iMac quite well.4Excellent quality productExcellent quality product. I can view my iPad at various angles and landscape or portrait orientations. The stand is sturdy and the brackets grip the iPad without scratching it and it the iPad is quite secure. The base is wide enough to eliminate any concern of the iPad tipping with movement or general use. The stand goes very well with my 27 inch iMac design and color. Highly recommend this product.5
