    Dead on arrival. I want a refund. simply dosen t work. Plugged it into the dvr and it s fuzzy, plugged it into the TV directly and the picture is unviewable. I m using a 12V 2A power supply and high quality cables. I have switched up power supplies and cables with ones from other cameras and they it still does not work. I want a refund or a new product. 1I've tried a lot of different cameras and these are the best I own I just bought a couple of these. I've tried a lot of different cameras and these are the best I own. The bracket only uses one bolt; what I did-- the bracket fits in between the two holes on the bottom of the camera, so I used a 3 inch long piece of 1 inch by 1/4 inch aluminum stock, I drilled two holes (1 9/16 inch on center ). I slipped the aluminum stock into the bracket (trapping it against the camera) and bolted the aluminum stock to the camera. I replaced the 0.25 x 20 x 1/4 inch with 0.25 x 20 x 1/2 inch to allow for the extra thickness. The camera is now held firmly in place. 5Don t buy Very difficult setup. The cameras freeze all the time and one never has worked. Waste of money 1NEEDS THE PROPER MOUNTING BRACKETS Some of the best cameras for the money. I have a lot of security stuff and as far as the night vision they are great. The only downside is the mounting brackets do not belong to these and with the wind, cause the camera to bounce and screws to get loose. I have ordered these 3 separate times spanning 1 year and same cameras and mounting brackets from the same seller. 5Highly recommended for all day/night operations This is an update to my previous review of this camera, where I faulted the night time vision aspects. The seller replaced the camera and it is totally impressive. This camera has an outstanding clarity both during during day and night operations! My apologies to the seller for not contacting them about the sub-standard night vision before posting my previous review 5These are good night vision cameras for the price...... We bought a couple of these cameras, because our neighbor stole from us. We had no choice but to spend the money on surveillance cameras if we don't want another break-in or have him sneak around on our woods. They have night vision. That is what we need, because these cameras can see in total darkness. it keeps the neighbor away. i discovered before we had our surveillance cameras that i could see little blue lights in the woods all over the place. At first i didn't know what it was. Our neighbor was all over our land at night and near our home. i was terrified. We absolutely need cameras in order to have peace of mind and be able to sleep at night peacefully. in the meantime i think i figured out what those little blue lights were. At first i was alarmed by a really bright flashlight behind our window. it was amazing that i saw it at exactly that time because i was just going to bed. That is when i went outside and saw the little blue lights later-on.Ever since we've had cameras with night vision the neighbor has not come near them, because they glow red. That is why it's such a good deterrent. My point and shoot camera broke and we couldn't afford a $ 110.- camera at the time so i bought a Besteker camcorder. it did not work well with my product review videos, but it did wonders with the those little bluish (i think they were blue) lights in the woods.it was amazing how well you could see those when looking through the lens of the Besteker. Later-on i put the memory stick file on the computer and to my amazement i could hear a beep. i remember one situation when i filmed and came closer to where i thought our neighbor was hiding. Something inside me said to not go any further or i may be shot. He usually carries a hand gun in his pocket.i got so so very scared and walked back slowly while praying. Later-on when listening to that particular film clip on the computer the sound intensified louder and faster/stronger the closer i came to where i thought he was hiding. in the meantime i figured that he may have been wearing some device and googled what it could have been. it may have been night vision goggles and that would show him where all the night vision surveillance cameras are and that he could see in the dark with those. i really don't know exactly what it is or how it works. My husband and i made a video where we talk more about these Jooan cameras. i hope it helps. Sabiene:) 5Good quality video This is exactly what I was looking for. The lens is 8 mm which brings things far away in close. I've given video to the police before and you could not make out the face or really even the gender of the person they're so far away but this zooms in on the street very well from the front of my house and it works very well at dark and even stays in color mode all the time. I do have flood lights in front of the house so that helps it stay in color 5Get 'em while they're cheap! Replaced a stock 1000tvl camera on a ZOSI 8 ch dvr hoping for better illumination at night and a more crisp image during the day. Got it. It is bulky and more complicated to mount than the cameras that came with the dvr, but it's plug and play, the bracketry is self explanatory if you have an iq over 5 or a child that is 5 who can show you how it works, and the coolest feature is that you can adjust the unit/ ir lights where you want them, then fine tune the camera angle with a joystick inline by the bnc connector. Very nice and for the price... I expected way less. This is a great addition to any setup. Pic on the bottom right is mine compared to the other 3 on screen at night/ ir. 5Excellent WIRELESS surveillance system This 8 channel wireless home security/surveillance camera satisfies everything I need for my home security. The wireless design eliminated my wiring hassles around the house. The package comes with everything I need to set it up. The setup process is pretty straight forward, because the youtube video listed on the product page is really helpful even though I am the first time setting up a multi bullet home security system. It comes with all necessary major component as well as accessories to set it up. The video quality is pretty decent, not like some other single indoor cameras claiming 1080p but not even 720p. Since I have pretty amount of extra hard drives ranging from 500GB and 2TB, I choose this no hard drive CCTV one to save some bucks. The motion detection notifications on mobile app is pretty useful as I can get the alerts real time rather than rewind and dig into gigabytes if not terabytes videos. The inactive 4 channels provides enough extensibility in case I need upgrade and cover a wider range around my home. 5Unreliable. Cameras randomly stop recording. I bought this for home security. The cheap price felt justified by the lack of hard drive and hdmi, monitor, and ethernet cabling. Unfortunately, what's left is not worth the price. The screws (mounting and adjustments) are made of very soft metal which is too easy to strip (unable to fully tighten the adjustments without stripping). The cameras do not transmit at the high resolutions described in the system settings. Transmissions regularly freeze and stop, even when all times are set to always record (supposedly disabling the motion sensors). The system settings do not reliably save, and the recordings failed to display information such as camera names/locations. The instruction manual is also poorly written and deficient...as if it were copied directly from Google Translate. In short, this is not a reliable system; therefore, cannot be trusted for home security. I ended up sending it back for a refund (which went smoothly). 1
