    Too bright, Clumsy, Heavy... it works, but it's ok.it's REALLY bright... i read LOTS of reviews on other book lights and lots of people are saying that biggest issue those book lights are too bright.. well this one - had few people complaining on that.. so i bought it. it's very bright!! the light is white w some blue in it - so it's a little heave on your eyes.. definitely does not help to put you in a sleep mode!Also - it's a little heavy! so it's hard to clip it to thinner books. and it's clumsy.it does not bend well, so when you adjust it - it doesn't stay... so it's kind of set in one position and it's hard to move it and make it stay to your liking.i wouldn't buy it again, so i would try something else - something lighter and less bright (less heavy on the eyes).. 3Good quality.Mighty Bright Travel Light works well and provides plenty of light for reading while traveling. spouse is sleeping or power outages. This is my second purchase over the years as my husband wanted his own light. 5Mighty Bright TravelFlex for my KindleMy older Mighty Brite light was too bulky to use easily with the Kindle 3 and M-edge Latitude jacket. As for other lights designed for the Kindle or the M-edge cover, they were more expensive than I could warrant. Looking through lights, I came upon this Travelflex in silver for around $8, with Prime shipping, so I jumped on it. I'm very pleased with it, with its performance and user-friendliness with the Kindle and M-edge, and am totally happy with silver, as my M-edge jacket is blue and gray.I don't clip any light directly on my Kindle itself, as I just don't trust that level of pressure that close to the screen, especially, over the long haul. I clip it onto the part of the jacket that is on the back of the Kindle. When I want to store the light and take the Kindle with me, it is easy to flatten the ends, curl it, and put it in the storage pocket of the M-edge.This is a very fine "Kindle, jacket, and light combination," especially when the light was about $8! 5great buylove it! bought it b/c I was having bouts of insomnia through my pregnancy, but didn't want to wake my husband by turning on lights or TV in an effort to fall back asleep. this little book light is perfect - it's small but bright. I can bend the neck so that it didn't shine in his direction & had plenty of light to read both pages. Love, love, love this handy book light! 5The best reading lights we have used!We have been using these reading lights for several years, myself and my four kids. We are avid readers, living much of our time in West Africa where the power is inconsistent, and excessive heat and tile floors are unkind to plastics. These lights have lit many a book, and even clipped above the stove for cooking, and lit the table for meals during a power outage. They have survived drops, being squashed into travel bags on road trips with kids, many twists and adjustments, all without breaking or wearing out. One battery cover broke after a couple of years of heavy use. A piece of tape was put around the battery compartment and it's continued to work for several more years. They are the best lights we have used, so when my father in law asked for one, we went back to the same type to fill his stocking! 5Won't attach by itself onto a KindlePros: It's gives a decently bright light, and the circumference of its light is wide enough to read. The flexible neck fixes itself in position and doesn't droop. It takes one AAA battery, and the packaging says it lasts 24 hrs. It's very lightweight.Cons: You can't use this on a 7th-generation Kindle (2014 model). The Kindle's back edges are slanted, and this TravelFlex's clip is too small to fix itself securely onto a Kindle in any way. I tried affixing the light to all four sides of the bezel, even the lower wider part, but no luck getting it to stay still. You definitely would need a Kindle cover to clip this light onto.Also, it's made in China and out of the box, the whole thing looks really flimsy. I got the silver color, and I can see poor quality in the edges of the plastic parts. Still, since it does a good job of lighting up enough area to read a book, as long as its neck doesn't start to droop or the light starts to dim or blink, I'm pretty satisfied. 4Good book light with AAA battery replacement!I like the AAA battery replacement. I had purchased book lights that used button cell batteries. However, the cost of the battery was nearly the cost light. I use rechargeable batteries that last a few weeks of heavy use. I would have liked an adjustable brightness to the light. It is bright, I would just like some more control with a lower light level. The battery and clip assembly is slightly bulky, but for the cost I think it is worth it. 4Quit working after a couple of monthsThis arrived on October 15, and since then, I've used it a moderate amount. I noticed that after a couple hours of use (intermittent use over the course of several weeks), the light grew considerably dimmer. I figured it was the battery, so I charged it, and voila bright light again....for about 30 minutes. I charged the battery again, and the same thing happened. Fast forward to today, and it doesn't work at all. Don't waste your money on this light; spend a little more and get something better. 1Would not EVER buy another brandI have had an assortment of book lights over the years. After reading many reviews, this was the one I chose, and I love it!It is lightweight, but a perfect weight, clips on to the leather cover easily, has a flexible neck..and best of all, lights up the Kindle perfectly! SOO easy to use, I use it to read in bed..very bright little light. It uses one battery.This is THE perfect light for my Kindle3!! 5
