    Not very strong neck. If you put a heavier ... Not very strong neck. If you put a heavier LED bulb, it can't hold it up and just sags down. 2Works well, a bit hot The clip is sturdy, the flex arm has good mobility without losing tautness. The light is bright and uses a regular 60W bulb. My only complaint is that the light gets pretty hot after a while. You wouldn't want to clip it close to anything that would be damaged by heat or that was flammable. Maybe I should try an eco bulb, probably wouldn't get as hot. 4Ok But Not Quite There On the whole it works well. If I were designing it, I would make the spring clip so it would open wider and I would definately put a longer flex neck on it. The flex neck does not give me the range of motion I really need like my old one did. 3Wrong Lamp Sent What Gatzies sent me was a Satco Clip-On Lamp with a GU24 CFL 2 Pin twist and lock base for compact fluorescent bulbs, not the standard screw-in base. It's a nice lamp and appears to be well made. It's just not what I ordered. They did include a fluorescent bulb. 3Great lamp! Great lamp, with improved switch (although it does fall off occasionally) and really nice design & good quality. 5Love these lights! I bought two of these lamps to attach to my new vanity, because the lighting in my room is awful. I purchased 60 watt LED lights from Walmart and they are like spotlights now! Ha! But really, they give off some great light for being a little clip-on thing - I wasn't expecting them to be that good! The clips hold them to the tops of the mirrors of my vanity very well, and the necks are stiff enough that the heads do not sag--they stay right where I want them to be! 5Perfect lamp for headboard The power brick of my previous headboard lamp cracked and was no longer safe, so I was in the market for a new lamp. I bought this one years ago from a local store (at a lower price), but it was no longer available there. This lamp is exactly what I knew it would be (since I already have one), and is a good replacement for my previous headboard lamp. The only thing I wish it had was a switch on the cord so I don't have to get up and reach up to turn it off by its knob as I'm dozing off (I was spoiled with my previous one), but that's not a fault of the item. As a plus, it's simple and doesn't have a power brick. 5Didn't work long I like the way it looks.Put in a bulb, turned it on, was happy. Turned it off. Turned it back on -- as I did this there was a grinding noise, and the switch broke free and just turned.Too cheap to make it worth paying shipping back. maybe I'll try to put a cord switch on it and get it to go on. 2Great! WOW! This is perfect! I got this lamp to use with my color changing bulb, for that purpose this is just perfect! I don't really need to use the switch, I can turn on and off the bulb itself. I like that I can clip this lamp on to anything, and that I can direct the light where I want to. When I need just the white light, I can turn it down where I need it, when I want to use the colored light, I can turn it up to the ceiling. What a great little thing at a good price. Pleased. 5Arrived Broken -- Very Poor Packaging The lamp arrived with the switch -- the black knob visible in the product picture -- completely broken off. The mechanism beneath was also broken, so the lamp was completely unusable. Accidents happen, I know, but the problem here is that the way the lamp is packaged by the manufacturer. Amazon shipped the lamp &and its original box) in a larger shipping box with very adequate padding. The problem is that the manufacturer put no padding or Styrofoam inside the original box, so now matter how well the shipping container is padded the lamp is free to bounce around inside its box. I think this is why the lamp broke. Amazon refunded my money with no problem, but I won't buy another of this model, because there is just no way I can be sure it will arrive in one piece, given the way the manufacturer packages it. 1
