    Good qualityMy kids got a hold of an old recorder. They tape themselves singing or talking. Was exactly what we expected.5New??????Ordered 3 sets of 9 NEW microcassets. They arrived with a rubberband around 9 loose tapes and the other 18 were loose (their rubber bands had come off)in a bubble envelope with a rip big enough for them to fall out. Not to mention that 4 tapes had come out of the plastic case and the cases had to be put back together. To advertise as new with a picture showing them in a manufacturers package seems a little deceiving.2Needs Better LabelingThe product itself works well. Part of the function of the product is to provide an audio record. Part of maintaining a proper record is a reliable labeling system. The current format allows the label to slip outside of the plastic container. The prior label was longer, and curved to conform to the shape of the plastic container (nestled within it). If the Maxwell is interested in having satisfied customers, the fix seems simple enough, go back to the original format?3pack of Maxell 60 minute tapes are greatvery few of us journalists still use a tape recorder and dictating machine; but I do. My old tapes were so worn that they no longer recorded my note taking. Now I have these new tapes and they work brilliantly in my Pearl transcriber.5OksihNot great but will do3Zero problemsIf you need these tapes, buy these. They work fine. A good value too. I hope they keep making these until my analog stuff dies.5worksworks wonderful with machine love it5Hard to find item but . . .They still like to use tape dictation equipment in our law firm. It is getting hard to find the microcassettes. These work okay but tend to jam easily and after the tape gets crinkled they have to be tossed. Perhaps they have been on a shelf for a long time and gotten brittle or the tape used is just super-thin, not sure. I found that once opening a new cassette tape, fast-forwarding all the way to the end and then rewinding back to the beginning before starting any dictation will tighten up the tape on the spools and is helpful in preventing jams.3Excellent ProductBought these to record bedtime stories for my grandsons who live in another state. Can't find them anywhere at a reasonable price so I was thrilled when I found them on Amazon.5Had to throw over half of them away...It's getting pretty impossible to find these anymore. Before I had good luck with them, but my latest order was only 40% usable.2
