    The knob is beautiful and does come with 3 adaptersThe knob is beautiful and does come with 3 adapters. The problem is that the knob just slides right off the adapters. They do not expand after being placed on the shaft. The opening on the base of the knob is slightly bigger then the adapter. I had to use Crazy Glue to secure the adapter to the knob. 3Nice Knob, Poor AdapterNice heavy knob with lacquered finish. Bought two, and each package comes with three adapters, but only one package had the typical half-circle shape. Something must have gone wrong on the assembly line... I will have to improvise with putty for that one. You will want to remove the lacquer with acetone so it will darken to a nice patina over time. 3Nice solid heavy brass knobNice solid heavy brass knob. Only complaint is that it doesnt fit on a standard dimmer that you buy from home depot. It does come with 2 attachments for different sizes, but none fit my dimmer. Had to improvise a little but worked out in the end. 3great itemnice!!! has multiple inserts so it will fit any dimmer 5Didn't fit right - had to improviseI'm rather annoyed with this. They do provide three inserts for various sizes of dimmer shafts, and the largest one fit mine - but the hole in the back of the switch was too deep for the shaft. I had to pad the opening with a bit of paper towel to get it to work. Also be aware that this is somewhat larger than a normal dimmer switch cover. 3Better than White PlasticI bought two of these for use with Leviton rotary dimmers (the other is antique copper). One of the three included adaptors fit fine and they look much better than the white plastic knobs included with those dimmers. Note that I bought both from the same vendor the "Switchplate Store". 5Very sturdy, made wellVery nice and heavy! Comes with adapters to fit the dimmer. It looks great and fits well. The pieces are just soft plastic- they really need to be metal or something stronger. This will never hold up if you have children hitting it! It just started falling off one day and my husband noticed the plastic was all worn out inside. I hot glued it on for now and it seems to be holding up but I won't buy another one. 1color not how it looksThe pic makes this look like an antique brass, but it's not. It's a polished brass and it is much heavier than stated at 2.5 oz. I gave this a 3 because it is actually a brass knob and I did actually get it. I'll use it because it is better than what I had, but I am disappointed. Additionally, it took almost 2.5 weeks to arrive. That is ridiculous and no tracking info was provided. 3
