Don't buy this. 1Five Starsstill working 5dead within a couple weeksI plugged everything and it worked fine. There's a red LED on the front that stays on all the time to let you know the box is receiving power. I barely used it but always left it plugged in so it was always using power and was always warm. After a couple weeks of just sitting there, I noticed the red LED wasn't on anymore. I checked the box and it wasn't warm as it usually was. So I unplugged everything and plugged it back in. Nothing. It wouldn't light up or anything. It didn't even pass signal through the CATV pass through ports. I guess I'll have to try another brand other than NIPPON AMERICA and this time maybe it'll last longer than a couple of weeks. I install these types of devices for a living and will not be buying NIPPON AMERICA products again. 1Audio connection was too noisyGot this to connect a newer TiVo A/V cable into the coax antenna input of my older television. I had picked this unit over others because of the integrated, non-wall-wart plug. But found that the audio signal through this device was terrible. It had static-y background noise. To confirm whether this RF Modulator was to blame, I tried running the same TiVo output through my VCR's RCA input and out to the TV via the VCR's coax output, and found that the noise was gone. So I sent it back. 1Five Starsworks great 5One StarDidn't work 1not using that often(spare TV) but the times i used ...not using that often(spare TV) but the times i used it , it served the purpose.
